The overall experience during the four year degree course was good. Crowd was good. Basic infrastructure needs were met. Food in the mess was also fine. Majority of the teachers were fine, having a command over their subject. MOUs signed by the college with leading companies in all sectors to promote industry academia relationship and bridge the gap between them. They do put in efforts to get maximum students placed.
Good infrastructure location and vast array of courses to choose. Lack of extra-curricular activities. The crowd and faculty were generally good. Good initiative to start industry academy integration by signing multiple MoUs with leading companies. Lack of sports and other extracurricular activities.
A location best suited for a college with good infrastructure and increase in number of placements of students, it had marked its presence in last few years as one of the emerging good quality university, with good teaching staff. Even it is close to Chandigarh, so good atmosphere to enjoy as well.
The College is near to Chandigarh/Mohali (30 minutes drive), so it garners good crowd from these cities. Most of the staff is young, and relatively inexperienced, but supportive, a couple of good senior teachers manage to balance it out, in each department. Attendance issues are there, but not very strict for 75%. Canteen(Mess) hasn't much to offer, but other stalls are there for food, or stationary etc. Hostels are decent, less strict for boys. Placements are decent, mass recruiters from region...
Placements: 70% of students placed in my course. The placement is average. Max Hospital is the top recruiter. A total of 178 recruiters participated in the placement process in 2023 and offered jobs to various courses of the batch 2023. The top role offered is of Technician.
Placements: I am doing my MBA here. Our college provides placements from your 3rd semester, but some placement drive companies do not even respond on time and change their schedule at a time. They don't give time to students to schedule or place themselves.
Placements: Placement are very average here. Don't have high expectations here. Since being in a collaborated company NextGen we are separate from college it's only for B.Teach and BCA students here they offer different syllabus, faculty, companies etc. So I'm not supposed to be worried .
Placements: The placement system is totally dependended on students intellectual qualities in agriculture course. The highest package is around 7.9lacs pr something. Around 50-70% students got placements every year. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Airtel, TVS, etc. Offers recruitments while some students option for government jobs like agriculture officer, afo, etc.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is 42%. The highest package offered to students is 17 Lacs, and the average package is 4 Lacs. The companies that come for our course are Royal Enfield, Eicher, Agri King Tractor, and Indiana Ferro Alloy, etc. The roles offered to students in our course are Calibration Engineer, Production Engineer, Junior Engineer, etc.
Placements: Around 50% to 60% of students got placements. The lowest salary package was 3.5 LPA and the highest salary package was 9 LPA to 10 LPA. Many companies like IBM, TCS, HTC, etc., visited our college to recruit students. Big companies recruited students with good skills and knowledge. Around 75% of students got placements. The highest salary package offered was 10.5 LPA.
Placements: Our institution maintains a very good relationship with prestigious companies. Students are placed in excellent positions with decent salary packages. Some special classes and tips are also provided to students for the recruitment process.
Placements: In our college, around 50-60% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA to 9 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA to 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Royal Enfield and other companies offered jobs and placed students.
Placements: Placements were average. About 30% of the students got placed. The average salary package offered was 2-3 LPA. Top recruiters are Wipro and HDFC. Most of the companies offered sales types of job. In classes, the main focus is on the development of students for cracking the interview.
Placements: The placements in this college are good, but I have also seen mega placements held for the engineering department. Last year a girl got placed in Amazon with a package about 10 LPA. So obviously there are good placements for other departments also.
Placements: The placements record in the college is good. Few students get good offers and placed with high packages around 6-10 LPA every year. Many students get an average package of 2-3 LPA. Many reputed IT companies visit the campus every year.
