SGSITS has a decent infrastructure.

Placements: Placements provided in my college are decent. However, placements of the mechanical course are not as good as placements of CSE and IT branches. Recently from our senior batch, about 40-45% of the students got placed on campus. This year good companies like MasterCard also visited our college.

Infrastructure: Our college has quite a decent infrastructure. It has a good library which can accommodate a good number of students. It has various books and each book has at least 9 to 10 copies. There is a separate section for the students from the category. It is Wi-Fi enabled throughout the campus. Our college provides sports facilities like a badminton court, a volleyball court, and a football playground.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are highly qualified. All the teachers are PhD holders or either pursuing a PhD. We have been taught the subjects that are most compatible with the outside world and relevant to day-to-day skills. Various workshops are also organised in our college to help us to cope with the skills which are required in the industries. Exams are quite difficult, and students have to prepare hard to pass the exams.

Other: My course is mechanical engineering. I chose this course because it is the best course that I could get in the college at my rank. The majority of the faculty members in the mechanical branch are PhD holders and have good experience in teaching. They are always available outside of the college to help us out other than studies. There is one fest that happens in our college every year named Aayam that comprises for two days in which all the activities are conducted. Events and various social activities are held here. Scholarships are also provided depending on students' eligibility.

It is a study oriented college having very less fest and extra curricular activities.

Placements: Internships are given to many students in IOT and embedded systems. Top companies visit and recruit the students from out college with the highest package offered being 1 crores and the lowest being 1.5 Lacs. Very less percentage of students got placed last year. We’ll know after two years whether the packages improve or not.

Infrastructure: Labs in the college are good. Wi-Fi available is also very good. The classrooms are quite big and the library has a very good collection of books including spiritual and devotional, sports and every other type of books available. Magazines are also there. The canteen provides good food and games are often played during tournaments.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but they are a little less helpful. They just teach and leave the classrooms. Passing the semester is not really tough because the exams are not too tough. The passing percentage is 33% and students usually get an average of 65%.

Other: Events and fests are very nicely organized and scholarships are provided by the college. The surrounding is very natural.

Placements: There are 60% of placements have been done in 2024. The highest salary package offered was 30cr and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, and Accenture. Top roles offered by our college are in Capgemini.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of colleges is excellent including gardens, auditoriums, playrooms, labs, workshops, libraries, etc. They provide hostels for boys only. Canteen is good. Snacks in canteen taste good and they maintain hygiene too.

Faculty: Teachers are experienced and helpful. The teaching quality is also nice and helps students with their queries. Course is relevant and prepares students of industry. Exams are medium, neither too difficult nor too easy. Pass percentage is 30%.

Other: I chose this course because this is the best course for B.Tech students and has high placement opportunities. The environment is good here.

Placements: Greetings students, at our esteemed global engineering college, approximately 45 to 49% of students secure placements annually. The highest placement package offered stands at 48 LPA, while the lowest is 1.6 LPA, with an average placement package of 4 LPA. Notable recruiting companies include Tata and Reliance, among others.

Infrastructure: In my opinion, based on my personal experience, I would like to mention that the management of the global college is satisfactory. The college boasts well-equipped classrooms with amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, coolers, and some even have smartboards. Additionally, the college provides a well-stocked library with an ample collection of books for the students.

Faculty: The faculty at the global engineering college are extremely supportive and highly skilled. Certain instructors are also very approachable. The most commendable aspect of the faculty is their effective teaching methods. I would like to mention that the course curriculum is somewhat relevant. However, the pattern and syllabus are considerably outdated.

Other: Students often find themselves having to travel extensively for various tasks, which can be quite time-consuming due to average management practices.

For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Computer Science and Business Systems was 114463 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota.
