The university provides more than 15 specialisations in BSc course. The specialisations are from Gaming, Agriculture, Nursing, Technology, Design, etc. field. The basic eligibility criteria required to get admission into BTech courses at RIMT University, are mentioned below: 

• For BTech (with all the above-mentioned specialisations), a student must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with any one subject between Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category students) in all the subjects taken together.
• For BTech - Lateral Entry (All Branches), students who have passed three year Diploma in Engineering are eligible for Lateral Entry (Join third semester of the programme).
• The tuition fees for BTech courses range from INR 3.8 lakh to INR 8.3 lakh depending on the specialisation.

According to the information given on the official website of the university, the total seat intake for BTech courses at RIMT University is 654. The number of seats is divided among the specialisations offered by the university. This number may vary depending on the availability of seats and the admission criteria of the university. Additionally, the name of the specialisations are, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.

NTA released the re-revised scorecard on July 26, 2024. In this scorecard, the score has been revised as per the Supreme Court verdict of removing the bonus marks awarded earlier for the controversial Physics question, and deducting one mark from those who marked incorrect answer options. The city and centre-wise result data such as number of candidates appeared and scores obtained, by masking candidates' personal data was released on July 21, as per the Supreme Court order given on the hearing dated July 18, 2024. The NEET 2024 result for the re-exam, which was conducted on June 23, was declared on July 1, day day after the slated date. The final answer keys for the NEET 2024 re-exam was released by June 30, ahead of the result declaration. Earlier, the result of NEET 2024 was declared by NTA on June 4, 2024, 10 days ahead of the original schedule, which was June 14, 2024. NTA released the final NEET answer keys on June 4, prior to the release of the NEET result 2024. The NEET result was declared in an online mode. Candidates have to log in with their registration credentials or application number and date of birth, and download their scorecard in PDF format. NTA also released the merit list containing the name, Roll Number, All India Rank and Percentile of the candidates. Along with the NEET 2024 scorecard, NTA also released the NEET 2024 cutoff marks or the qualifying marks/scores.

According to the information provided on the official website, the university accepts JEE Main,  LEET,  NATA,  GATE,  CAT,  CMAT, and NCHMCT JEE entrance exams for admissions to professional courses. The university also accepts NATA/JEE Main scores for admission to BArch. The selection of students in BTechis done through LEET counseling. Hence, candidates with any one considerable entrance examination scores can get admission to BTech courses at RIMT University.
