I would recommend joining this college but for other courses and not for B.Tech in mechanicals.

Placements: It is a good college for fun and gathering but if you are looking for a professional educational college then it is not made for you. I didn't see any placements. Companies that visited the campus for placements offered a salary of Rs. 10,000 per month. The role offered is under a contractor.

Dissatisfied because of placements, Not even a single prestigious company came for recruitment.

Placements: 40% placement record. The highest salary offered- 4.15 LPA, the lowest-1.4LPA, Avg. - 3LPA. Not even a single top recruiter came for placements. Internships are cancelled in MRSTTU and there are only 2 subjects in 8th semester. Software Tester is the top role offered in the college.

I'm totally dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: No company visited the campus for placement from the past 4-5 years. Companies that visit the campus offer a salary package of 1.5-2.0 LPA. The college management and HODs are responsible for these poor placement records. There is a placement cell, but it is only available for namesake. The placement cell is totally useless. We can't expect a single student to get placed from the civil department.

If they work little hard, RIMT will be the best.

Placements: Few companies visited, and many of us took part there, and very few of them were selected. I attended the Indian Army, but I didn't get selected because it was my first time. The college must work hard in this field, and this wing is poor there.

The college is good in everything but very bad in examinations.

Placements: Although many companies come to recruit students, for civil engineering, very fewer companies visit. Nowadays, many companies come for civil too. The best recruitment is done in the army in this college. Dell, Microsoft, Tommy Hilfiger, some mechanical engineering companies too (don't know the names), etc. visit the college.

University is good, but you have to improve education and security there.

Placements: When we talk about placements, a B.Tech student would expect big MNCs or maybe a startup, but they want to go for a technical job. I have joined many placement drives, 9 out of 10 were from BPO background, so no one could go. After studying hard for 4 years and spending so much money, we can not work for a BPO at Rs. 10,000-15,000. Placement is the main thing that needs to be improved in the university.

Overall average in all the things.

Placements: The placements offered were poor for our batch as well as seniors batch. Mostly BPO jobs were offered by the companies, but the students want the development lines. The salary packages offered were average. 20% of the students got an internship. The lowest stipend offered by the companies is 0. The maximum stipend offered is 18K.

Dissatisfied because of the placement record of my batch in 2015.

Placements: On this factor, I would say RIMT is lagging behind. I graduated from the college in 2015 and only 40% of my total batch strength got placed in companies which is way below the satisfactory level. The visit of companies for placements on the campus is very less in most of the streams except companies for CSE students. Although I graduated in the electronics stream, I got placed in an IT company i.e. TCS, which shows almost no presence of core companies visiting the RIMT campus. ...

Infrastructure is good as compared to faculty members and other things.

Placements: Some companies come here for placements but hardly 2% students are selected and a package of 2 to 3 LPA is maximum. If you want to pursue courses like hotel management, mass communication, MBA etc, you can go for it. I would not recommend for BTech/MTech. The placement is just for the namesake.

If you wanna go for another course after btech, then i will suggest you to join the college coz of less fees otherwise you can go for better options having way better placement and other facilities.IET campus has better staff than MAEC staff and I'll say maec hardly have staff ,i myself was taught by only two ,atmax three teachers.

RIMT is the best college in Punjab for technical education. The college faculty is very helpful. The college environment is pretty good. RIMT has helped me to test my capabilities. I have gained good knowledge from my teachers. Overall I had a good learning experience here.

College is hard, well my time in college has enriched my life in many ways like professionalism, punctuality, education etc, etc. I don't wanna talk about those things here so I"ll skip to the main part. Everyone told me that in college I would meet the people who I would be friends with for the rest of my life and honestly this is the only thing that has actually happened. To all of my best friends (shilpa, monga, akash, kk and mayank) , thank you. Thank you for helping me adjust so quickly and...

It's a good college but the placements are not enough good. Sometimes you face fake placements. University is not up to the mark. College infrastructure and faculty is good. Hostel accommodation is available and on fair prices. Students must check about the course available and see the last 3year placement records and talk to the alumni members. .
