Everything about the College of Agricultural Engineering and PAU is positive.

Placements: Placements are really good here. If you have scored a good CGPA or even less, they will provide you placements if you don't want to continue your studies further. About 35 students get placed every year among 80 because others continue their studies in M.Tech.

BTech in Food technology at Punjab agricultural University Ludhiana.

Placements: Most of the students from our college get placements in their final year or even after that. The average package offered is about 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. Major companies like Nestle, Verka, and Amul recruit students from PAU for internship opportunities as well as job offers. The workplace quality of the internship and job is very good and promises a good salary as well.

PAU- one of the best state agriculture university.

Placements: Only 20% of the of the students placed in our batch had an average package of 3 lacs. The top recruiting companies include Bayer and Syngenta. But most of the students prefer Masters and government job preparation, as there are many jobs for agriculture graduates. Internships were available last year on campus as well as at companies like Crop Chemical.

One of the best agriculture engineering colleges in India with really good placements.

Placements: 20–25 students out of 70 were placed and the rest of them wanted to go for further studies at IIT Kharagpur, a few wanted to do an MBA; and some of the students in our batch wanted to go to America on scholarships to do a Masters. The top recuring companies are John Deere, Mahindra, Tafe, and Amul .

It is Asia's top-ranked university in the field of agriculture.

Placements: Students can write exams like horticulture development officer, agriculture development officer, and junior research fellowship. Our batchmates have become ADOs and HDOs with a salary of 1 LPM. Students can apply for assistant professors at PAU and get placed. Placement cell solves the queries of students. Students can become plant breeders, agronomists, fruit research scientists, floriculturists, and olerists. Many students got placed at Mcgill, Verka, Coca-Cola, Bonn, Markfed, Punjab Agro Juic...

Good infrastructure , good mess food , good sports facilities, reasonable hostels

Placements: Placements are good and generally all students land a job in some company. Avg package is of 8 lakhs. The lowest salary paclage goes to 1- 2 lpa and it is not easy to land a job in this field . Everyone needs to land an internship on the basis of their own efforts and connections.

Dissatisfied with placements last year, good infrastructure and facilities .

Placements: You have to crack the entrance test for admissions in any of the courses here. Top ranks will be selected, around 40 seats for general and then reserved seats. This is a 4 year degree programme where you'll learn almost about every stream. Great scope in India as well as abroad. You are eligible for the ADO and HDO exams after this degree completion. You can also be a food inspector, soil inspection officer and many more. Also recruited by various food processing industries. Great opportunities ...

Placements: There are no placements in our course. Few streams provide campus placements. The training is always on-campus for biotechnology students.

Punjab Agricultural University has good campus life.

Placements: Placements are good in this college. The average salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA - 8 LPA. Almost 50% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 5.5 LPA. Many students opt for higher studies.

Review of PAU, Ludhiana.

Placements: Students are eligible for placements in the last semester, and they are informed about companies by the placement cell through emails. The highest package offered is about 6.5 lacs per annum, and the average package is 3 lacs per annum. Around 50% of students got placed. After degree, I want to try for a government job in the agriculture field.

I am quite satisfied with the university.

Placements: There are no good placements. Only a few companies came to the campus that offers very low packages, which lie between 2.5 LPA and 3 LPA. The university does not support placements of students. However, the courses taught are very useful. Students are trained very well so that they can run their own businesses or help farmers effectively.

Satisfied because of good faculty members, good environment, and average placement.

Placements: Almost 25% of students were placed, with an average package of 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Escort Tractor, Amul, etc. Most people prefer higher studies to light up their careers. You mainly study soil and water, irrigation system, food& processing engineering, and farm machinery and equipment.

It is the best college for Agriculture and allied sciences.

Placements: There are a lot of placements in India as well as abroad. Many students got jobs and some decided to study further. Salaries starting from Rs.10,000 to Rs.2,50,000 per month. Placements were there for food-related industries for roles like a quality manager and AFO etc.

It is the best college for students who are willing to go abroad.

Placements: Based on B.Tech biotechnology, the jobs are very few. From a batch, only 1 or 2 students are selected. We get internships on our own. The training is provided on-campus, but the students are willing for going abroad because the recommendation of PAU is best in this field.

It provides great infrastructure but the placements level are not good.

Placements: Placements are very low in this college. Even if placed, the average salary package offered is 2 LPA. Maximum students either go for postgraduation or government jobs in their respective fields. But the quality and the level of study are real good. This university has made and kept a huge reputation in foreign as well.

It has a good campus life, facilities but placements are decent.

Placements: On average only 30-40% of the placements are provided. Even students are not interested in placements rather they are interested in the PPSC exam. The average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA - 4 LPA. These placements are in agriculture industries. The internships rate is fine. Almost 60% of the students get internships.

It is a good college, and I suggest you join this college.

Placements: Earlier placements were 100%. But with time, it is declining. But the fun part is, there are endless opportunities on the basis of a degree course. So students should need not worry about the future. The highest salary offered is 2 lacs per month by a good private company. Our course teaches us about the value of farmers in our nation.

Placements: The placements are easy and feasible. The top recruiting companies visited our campus and offered many jobs, like Amul, Verka, Nesle, MTR Foods Ltd., and also government jobs like FCI, NABARD etc. The highest package offered to me was 5 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA. Our college provides good teaching but not jobs.

Placements: None of the companies comes to university to hire students from biotechnology. Most of them go for a masters or MBA. University has agricultural research, and it's the prime focus. Hence has good linkage to foreign universities, where most students end up. Biotechnology is a self-funded course, i.e., and you are charged more than other degrees like B.Sc, agriculture/horticulture, but not much advantage when it comes to getting placed.
