Events organised at the university are in abundance and the fun never stops here.
Placements: In our college, placements are good. If companies do not offer any jobs, I will plan for some other businesses. Whenever students complete the course, placements are not available. I will start some businesses and continue with that. The college has many types of internship opportunities. Roles offered are sales, telemarketing, lead generation, social entrepreneurship, graphic design, marketing, market searching, finance, etc.
Infrastructure: The university has a lot of opportunities for someone who wants to get involved. The infrastructure is first-class with libraries, OPD facilities, a salon, a lounge, food stalls, a food court at every block, 2 big auditoriums, etc.
Faculty: The weekly test exam is mandatory for all students who are studying in our college. Semester exams are conducted every 6 months. Every semester has two mid-term exams, and it is mandatory to write because the mid-marks are added to the semester.
Other: Clubs like Rotaract Club, Rangmanch Club, and Confluence Club. These clubs are run by students. It is very active socially and some of the clubs have many opportunities and exposure. I am in the media club, and it is regularly active with events daily. Sports and co-curricular activities are held daily with football and basketball games.

Best university for M.A. In Economics.
Placements: Last year, over 90% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 32 LPA, the average was 17 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Goldman Sachs, Boston Consulting Group, etc. Few students secured internships. Roles offered are data analyst, web consultant, etc. Around 85% of students secured internships.
Infrastructure: The college offers Assam's best M.A. course infrastructure. The AICTE Modrobos plan was used to build the labs' service and DBMS service. The college has the top instructors. Projectors and speaker systems are used in classrooms. Every classroom has its private network, and the campus has Wi-Fi. Students have access to two air-conditioned labs.
Faculty: Every faculty member is well-qualified and amiable. It is the college council that update the curriculum. Teachers are willing to go above and beyond for their students. Without hesitation, students can contact their teacher if they need assistance. Those with PhDs are here to instruct students. The pass percentage for semester examinations is 52%, and they are rather difficult.

Placements: There is a different department for the student's placement that helps the students with their placement process. The highest package offered by the companies is around Rs 5,00,000/- per annum for this course. The average package offered by the companies is around Rs 3,00,000/- per annum for this course.
Infrastructure: There are various types of games available for the students to play on the campus. There is a Wi-Fi facility available for the students in classrooms as well as on the campus. The college also provides the medical facilities to the students at a free of cost.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and guide the students for their future as well as for their careers. The teachers are well qualified and have a great knowledge in their domain. This course makes the students industry-ready and gives an overview of the industry.

Overall best University for M.A. in Geography Course.
Placements: Almost 75% of students got a place in our university. The highest salary offered in our study is 20 LPA. The average salary is 10 LPA. Top companies like , NRSC, NATMO, ISRO etc attend our campus. The top roles offered are GIS analysts, Geospatial data scientists, and more.
Infrastructure: Our university offers excellent services and a well equipped department. We also have Wi-Fi connectivity, modern classrooms, and a good library. There are certain opportunities offered to our college. Students can explore skills along with education. Our hotel has good food and cleanliness. Our hostel also has a 24/7 security medical ambulance. The hotel is like a religious temple.
Faculty: We have very experienced faculty members. Very helpful and well worth it. They are very helpful to us. The curriculum is innovative. Projects and presentations are held from time to time. The curriculum is designed in such a way. Semester exams are easy. The pass rate is 75%.

Placements: Mostly, girls opt for this program. The placement is decent, but as a senior, I would advise considering a career in content writing. Create a blog on a niche of your interest, start promoting it, write posts, and learn SEO through AdSense ads; you can earn a stable income from home. The college does offer jobs in schools, business development, and international call centers. The top placement off-campus was a student who got a position at Amazon as a seller support associate with a 4 LPA package and lifetime work-from-home option. Many of my friends work as teachers in primary and secondary schools and earn well by teaching 5-6 hours a day. I believe an M.A. in English offers a lot of career options and could provide a better career path than many other fields.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is top-class with a large building, numerous classrooms, and various facilities. We have girls' rooms, an auditorium, a reading room, labs, a library, and a conference hall. The college has Wi-Fi, though the speed is less. The library resembles a movie set and contains many books. We can play sports like badminton, football, and cricket on a large sports ground. Hostel rooms are shared with friends, and only vegetarian food is provided. The canteen and cafeteria offer good-quality food, though it is more expensive than the hostel food. For safety, the college is equipped with fire alarms, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits on every floor.
Faculty: The environment and teachers are strict, but our department teachers are very approachable. They are friendly and suggest ways to improve vocabulary, such as listening to the news, using Twitter, and watching English movies. The course covers various aspects of the English language, including poetry, stories, and literature. The syllabus can be covered within the semester, but assignments and written work require more time, leaving less time for study. Semester exams are conducted by the University, with 40% weightage for term-end exams and 60% for internal assessments like mid-sem exams and class tests. The difficulty level is moderate; passing is easy, but scoring well can be challenging.
Other: The student body mostly comprises individuals from North-East states, particularly Assam, Tripura, and Manipur. The college is surrounded by gardens and green grass. The college provides merit-based scholarships.

10/10 infrastructure, 6/10 faculty, 8/10 facilities.
Placements: I'll give an honest opinion about placements: if you're planning to do an M.A. in English, the placement cell doesn't bring in companies that hire us. However, there are plenty of job opportunities as English teachers in both private tuition and colleges. Anyone can easily earn a minimum salary of 20k for teaching, or BPO is another option. The college has placed students in Infosys BPO and Genpact, with salaries around 4 Lacs rupees. Internships are based on our choice, and the roles available are English tutor and business process outsourcing.
Infrastructure: The university infrastructure is top-notch; it feels like a college from a Dharma Production film. The college campus has lots of shops and stationery essentials for students. The canteen on campus offers a variety of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Many events happen around, like DJ nights, concert nights, and festival celebrations. The college has Wi-Fi on campus and in the hostel. The elevator does not work properly, and my department is on the 4th floor. The hostel food is sometimes disappointing, but otherwise, everything is well and adequate. College sports and games like football and cricket are played throughout the year.
Faculty: Some teachers are so bad, but only in some departments. They can act like that just because they can. Attendance is a burden, and the college is strict about the dress code. Extra classes are very often scheduled after teachers cancel their lectures due to some problems. Our course mainly focuses on English language speaking, writing, and word direction. The syllabus consists of literature and poetry. Semester exams are written tests, but presentations carry some marks—60 marks for the term-end exam and 40 marks for college assessment.
