Admissions to Saveetha Medical College can be obtained only if students qualify for entrance exams of the respective courses. For medical courses like MBBS, it's not possible to get admission without appearing for the NEET exam. Without qualification for entrance exams, one would not be eligible for admission. Entrance exams might not be required for non-medical courses like B. Sc or BA. Technical courses like engineering usually require entrance exams like JEE Mains.

For the academic year 2025, the university has opened the BPharm application process. The SIMAT Chennai BPharm deadline hasn't been announced yet. Saveetha University offers MBA programme under eight specialisations, such as Hospital Management, Human Resource Management, International Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Marketing. The cost of tuititon for the two-year MBA programme at Saveetha University is INR 7 lakh. The above-mentioned fee is taken from an official source/sanctioning body. Hence, it may vary.

Saveetha University Chennai reserves seats for the students, who belong to SC/ ST/ BC candidates. Additionally, the university also provides reservations for students from weaker sections of society. The percentage of seats reserved for BSc students is not explicitly mentioned on the official website of the university. However, candidates can take the reference of reserved seats as per the government of India and the state government of Tamilnadu. 

All applicants need to do is fulfil the eligibility requirements to ensure a seat in the SIMATS BSc course, which includes gaining decent scores in their Class 12 Science stream. Additionally, applicants must register on the university's official website.

For the academic year 2024, Saveetha University has not specified the deadlines for any of its courses. Nonetheless, there are certain dates for entrance tests such as TANCET for MBA and M.Tech programmes and NEET UG for MBBS that can provide us with an idea. For example, the results of TANCET 2024 are due on June 14, 2041, while NEET UG 2024 is planned for May 5, 2024. Usually, the cutoff is made public following the release of the entrance exam results. • Overall

Saveetha University is a superior college for B.Pharm than SRIHER. It features a more contemporary campus, experienced instructors, and a higher placement record. However, it is also more expensive.

Additionally, students who become one of the toppers from 1 to 5 in the university's exams will get relief in tuition fees from 10 to 40%. Additionally, Saveetha University offers scholarships to students from weaker sections whose family income is below INR 2.5 Lacs per annum.
