Review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.

Placements: Almost more than half of students get placed in companies. The average package is around 5 lakhs. And the highest package was 20 lakhs. Students need to maintain the CGPA above 7 to sit in the campus placement with no backlogs. Teachers also help students to pursue their interests.

The review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University - SMVDU.

Placements: Many students from almost all batches got placed in the IT field. The placement rate is around 50%. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the highest was 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Companies like TCS, L&T Infotech, Orange, Tech Mahindra, Sonalika, and Bosch, etc., visit our campus for placements. Review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.

Placements: Placements are quite good if you are a student of computer science department. The annual package offered is about 4 to 5 LPA. From my senior batch, around 80% of the student got selected with that package. Some seniors are very good and qualified for GSOC. Now, they are earning a handsome salary. Mostly, the companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus to offer placements.

SMDU campus has best ambience to study, average faculty, and above average infrastructure.

Placements: In my college, for architecture branch, there are no placements directly instead students need to apply for any job after when they completed their graduation in B.Arch. In the 7th semester, students are required to make one portfolio having all the relevant work for getting the internship in their favourite firm. Salary does not matter during the internship, the thing which matters is how good the firm is. So getting into a reputed firm makes students compete to get into it on the basis of thei...

Kind of dissatisfied, mainly due the poor placements for the batch 2014, decent faculty and infra.

Placements: The placements for our batch as well as our senior batch were below average. Almost 50% students of the senior batch and less than 50% of the senior batch were placed. The average package was around 3 Lacs pa. Our college was visited by companies like TCS, LnT Infotech, Orange, etc. There were no internships from college. Yes, there is a placement cell but it was not very efficient.

Apart from infrastructure, everything is disappointing.

Placements: When it comes to placements, it is not that exciting. Major recruitment is through Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Other than that company like Wipro, Coca-Cola, Orange and some other also visit, but doesn't recruit much. The highest package here is also not something to brag about, and it is somewhere between 3.5LPA to 4.0LPA. This is the highest as well as the average package you can get here. So if you come here thinking about placement prepare yourself to get disappointed.

Awesome infrastructure and climate

Placements: The placements are good. The highest package offered is around 5 lacs, and the university offers almost 90% placements to ECE and CSE students. Although not very big companies take part in the campus selection process, companies like Airtel, Wipro and TCS usually visit the university for campus selections. Students often get positions such as software engineer (CSE).

SMVDU review. Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and placements.

Placements: Placements in my senior batch were better than mine. Though, the companies that come for campus placements are TCS, HCL and Infosys. Lowly IT companies we can say, offering a labour class package to students, which is 3.15-3.5 lakh per annum, that too with a bond of 2-3 years. There are no internships provided on campus, so the students have to try it for themselves.

Infrastructure is good but the faculty members are not up to the mark.

Placements: Around 30 percent students got placed from university placement drive. Majority of them are from electronic and computer science background. In terms of salaries, the highest package offered is 4.8 LPA, lowest is 2.3 LPA and the average reaches to 3.2 LPA. Roles are offered as per their choice of engineering field.

Good infrastructure, good living facilities, good hostels but not good teaching. It is improving.

Placements: The placements in SMVDU are not as high as compared to other colleges because of its remote location. Every year almost 30 to 40 percent of the students get placed in the on-campus placement drive. Mechanical engineering has very few campus drive companies but they can try for the IT sector companies which come to our campus. Some of the companies that regularly comes to our college are Wipro, TCS, Orange, Mahindra etc. However, the college is growing continuously and the number of placements is...

When you visit this college for the very first time you are definitely going to like it. Faculty members here are good, I can’t say that they are the best. Most of them are cooperative I won't resist in saying that many of them are not. Examination papers are quite easy if you study just for a fortnight you can surely secure good grades. Labs in this university are not in very good condition but if you are willing to learn there are enough equipment in lab. There are mainly two fests in entire y...

Average government. College, needs to be updated in many ways.

Placements: My course doesn't offer placement in any college. 100% students get internship in companies like r corp, sga and hafeez since it is mandatory to pass but we have no help in procurement of these internship from our college Role of Junior architect .

for higher studies, you can think about this college.

Placements: Electrical branch is newly opened, I think this branch started in 2018. Right now there is no more scope for placement for this branch, but I sure that as year passes it is going to be good option for placement. So if you think this college then take this college.
