- CMAT 2025 registrations are closed now for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses. The CMAT 2025 exam will be held on Jan 25, 2025.
- The MAT 2025 registration process for the Feb session is open for PBT and CBT; the last date to apply is Mar 2 and Mar 9, 2025, respectively. Further, MAT 2025 PBT and CBT will be scheduled on Mar 9 and Mar 23, 2025, respectively.
- The CUET UG registration process 2025 for admission to UG courses will commence tentatively during the last week of Feb 2025. The CUET UG 2025 exam dates will be announced soon.
- The IIT JAM 2025 online registration process for admission to the MSc course has closed now. The IIT JAM 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Feb 2, 2025.

SMVDU Admission Process 2024
SMVDU admission process 2024 is both entrance and merit-based followed by SMVDU Counselling. Candidates can apply online on the official website of the university while entrance examination applications are available on their respective websites.
Located in Katra, Jammu & Kashmir, SMVDU accepts admission on the basis of the CUET examination for the majority of the undergraduate & postgraduate programmes. Students willing to apply for BTech admission must have passed Class 12 with PCM stream from a recognised board or equivalent. Also, students must qualify for the JEE Mains or CUET UG exam followed by University level Direct Counselling or JOSAA or AIR (CRL) at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.

Steps for SMVDU Admission Process 2024
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University conducts the admission process in two phases: Phase 1 and Phase 2. The application window for both phases is closed for the 2024-25 academic session. Candidates applying for 2025 admission, need to follow different steps for admission to SMVDU courses. Below is the step-by-step process for SMVDU admission:
Step 1: Application: Apply online on the official website @ smvdu.ac.in
Step 2: Selection: Merit shall be declared on the basis of score in the entrance exam, such as JEE main/CSAB/NATA/CUET/CAT/MAT/CMAT/GATE.
- For BTech, appear for JEE Mains or JEE Advanced and qualify for it and register at the JoSAA or CSAB at nic.in or csab.nic.in respectively using the JEE roll number and password.
Step 3: Counselling: Counselling starts in the month of May for most of the courses.
- For BTech, after the JoSAA or CSAB registration, candidates must fill in their choice of courses and colleges from the available list. The courses and colleges matching the candidate’s eligibility will be listed out in online mode. Candidates can choose SMVDU from the given list and the BTech course they wish to opt for.
Step 4: Admission Confirmation: Admission confirmation letters will be sent to selected candidates. A Bank loan letter will also be provided if required.
Step 5: Fee Payment & Document Verification: Admission shall be provisional subject to verification of the original documents. The annual fee payable including the hostel charges shall have to be paid in one lump at the time of admission.
