A decent college in Indore but don't go for it.

Placements: Placements are decent and the main recruiter is TCS which is a beacon of light for many. Other brands like web duniya and clear trail recruit a handful of people but most people get placed more or less by April. There are Jo companies that offer internships. You will have to search for one off-campus. Even if you manage to bag one, the computer Science and IT department will not help you in anyway, be it attendance, assignments or grades. They cannot see you progress and will not support you in ...

I found a lot of comfort in college, but little dissatisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: Placements for the mechanical branch are not very good in our college. In the current year, and also in last year, only 15%-20% of students' were placed. I don't have much information about the salary. Some students got placed via open campus. The important part of college is its Textile branch. In Textile branch they are offering 90%-100% placement in well know firms like Vardhaman, Voltas etc.

The college is getting down nowadays. They are not giving quality education. Placement is okay.

Placements: The placements are good only for CS and IT students. The college has no placements for civil engineering students, so civil engineering students don't know what to do after degree. So, this needs to be improved. In the name of placements, they call TCS company to the college. The students selected in TCS have to wait because of much crowd in TCS, so students face disappointment there.

It has a requirement of good and many companies to recruit the students from the college.

Placements: Our batch had 50% placements. Our senior batch had almost 80% placements. The system and placements are degrading day by day because the college management is least bothered about that. They just want attendance, assignments, that's it. The highest package goes around 5.5, and the lowest goes till 1-1.2 LPA as well. The average salary comes about 2-2.5 LPA. The usual mass recruiter TCS (this year it took just 134), Systango (5), Collabera and some more. Roles were mostly a bit different from the...

Think twice before you choose this college.

Placements: There are apparently not much placement options for core branches like CE and electrical. There are some placement opportunities for ME. If you are from CS/IT/EC, you have a good chance of fetching an average package of 3.4 LPA to 3.5 LPA. Placement cell is working upon this though. A major recruiter is TCS.

Overall, our college was good. They provide us with all facilities which were required.

Placements: I thank our placement department for providing this opportunity to appear in pool placement drive connected with IBM, TCS, WIPRO, SYSTANGO, IMPETUS. The placements for the session was average around 40-50%. The company with the highest salary package was SYSTANGO, 5.25 LPA per annum, and 2.25 LPA was the lowest package.

It is an average place to find your dreams.

Placements: It completely depends on your potential to get placed. You will get a chance for open as well as pool campus, apart from college placements. The core companies don't recruit the students from civil engineering. It is better to take coaching for government sector or to look out for GATE. The packages offered by the other companies are not good.

The college is good for computer science enginnering.

Placements: Tata Consultancy Services was the mass recruiter company. The total number of students placed from all branches were 159. Among electronics and communication branch, with a total of 120 students, 22 students finally got offer letter from TCS, all with the same package of 3.2 LPA. Another company Systango (only for Computer Science and IT branch) shortlisted and offered software developer role to 8 students with the package of 3.5 LPA. Most of the students from textile branch got placed in compan...

Overall, an average college in all fields.

Placements: The placements of this college are not much good. The college management is not able to bring much of the core companies to the college, particularly for the mechanical engineering branch. The maximum package offered goes to 4-5 lakhs per annum. You should not prefer this college if you want the placement after your degree. But if you are going to prepare for other exams like GATE, CAT and other government exams, then you can join this college.

An old, valued name trying to live up to the current education requirements.

Placements: Placements in the software and hardware sectors are not a highlighting factor here. You will find mass recruiters like TCS that place 60% of any batch. Although, this year, the percentage was low with 50% placements from computer science and over 60% from information technology. Other recruiters include Wipro and Systango. The average cycle is around Rs. 3.3 lpa with the highest being around Rs. 5.5 lpa. Students, after the training stage, are offered with intermediate associate roles and proj...

Satisfied because of labs

Placements: Placements are good if you're in computer science engineering, information technology, textile engineering and electronics engineering branch. There are 100% placement for textile engineering branch. But less placement for branches like civil and mechanical engineering. TCS is the main company that visit every year and take about 150-200 students per year. Other companies are Raymond, etc.

Shri Vaishnav Institute of Technology And Sciences has now became a university and it has a good campus with moderately qualified faculties. The university is putting great efforts to improve itself. Many changes were noticed in my four years of Engineering. The college is very close to the Indore Airport. Some faculty members are supportive and the rest are just fine. I would rate this college 6.5 out of 10. Just visit the campus, and choose it if you like it. The canteen is average with a l...

College is good if you choose textile or electronics and communication branch, as their placements and faculty and facilities are good. For other branch it is not that worth. College is located in the outskirts of city, so very less option to reach other than college buses which is available for two times a day. College is now expanding its area which will increase the size of playgrounds, and other departments. Thus it has a good scope in the future.

A good and one of the oldest private colleges in MP by Vaishnav trust. It is affiliated to Rajeev Gandhi Technical University Bhopal. Fees is comparatively lower than other private colleges. Infrastructure is not that much good. Faculties are average. Labs are okay. It is the only college in MP having textile branch. Automobile branch has also been started. TCS is the main recruiter, after that many local and MNCs visit here for recruiting CS students, average package is about 3 lakhs.

Good brand name when compared to other colleges in the state. Hard working students. Good labs. Few exceptional faculties. Too much focuses on how you present yourself and not on the knowledge you have. Internal marks are given on the basis of your interaction with the professor.

The college is very good for ones who are interested in computer science. There is very good infra also it has one complete building dedicated to Computer science field (Computer Science block). I will never suggest my college to anyone reason being, the college conducts only one placement drive in a year (TCS) which takes 150 students from CS and IT, 50 from EC and EE, and 10 from the remaining 8 departments. There are no facilities for extra-curricular activities, we didn’t have a jam room, we didn’t have a playground, and canteen is of no use. Coming to students, they are hardworking, they submit their assignments on time, they attend more than 75% of classes, they take the essential...

SVITS Indore is one of the best private college in Indore. The college offers various courses such as B.E in various branches, M.E., MCA and MBA. But the college has gained its main reputation from engineering stream students. The hostel (both girls and boys) facilities are good at SVITS. College has a very nice infrastructure where all the classrooms are installed with projectors and labs are very good and systematic as well. Teachers at SVITS are cooperative and highly qualified and gives prop...
