Placements: Approximately, 96% of the students were placed on campus only. The highest package offered was approximately 18 Lacs per annum, and the average salary per annum was approximately 4 to 6 Lacs. Approximately, 33 companies come here and offer placement. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Bosch, Wells Fargo, Dell and many more companies came last year. Almost all the students get the internship opportunity from this college.

Placements: The placements here at SMIT are handled by the training and placement cell of the college, which is a very active body. It organises various workshops and training programs for the students of all the departments throughout the year which increases their out knowledge about the job sectors of the country. Placements: Being honest, the placements offered were not good in this college. When I was in the 2nd year, TCS which is the mass recruiter company cancelled and blacklisted the college for next five years. As a result, other company also started hesitating for the campus drive. They are showing the placement of 96-97%, but in reality, it is 4 %. Placements: The college does not have placements, but they make fake promises while you take admission in this college. They do not provide any interviews or placements training in my whole course. One time, a company came for the placement, and the person who took my interview said that this is for time pass and this is a formality.

Placements: The placements are good for EEE students. About, 7-8 lakhs per annum is an average package given to the students. The management is not that good so that a few companies are visited this college. But for a decent amount and good infrastructure you can prefer this institution.

Placements: There are no placements at all. There have been no placements for anyone in my batch. They are not even providing any classes. Do not take admission in Sikkim Manipal University distance education. This is the worst experience. Do not take admission. Try to get admission in IPU or DU. Do not go for any distance learning centre.

Placements: The placements offered are pretty average in this college. Only a few companies visit like TCS, Capgemini, Wells Fargo and maximum five companies. The placement percentage is around 60 to 70% which is pretty average. The amount they are charging for B.tech course is roughly around 12 lacs per anum which are high concerning to placements. So I will not recommend it. I myself was not placed that year.

Placements: The placement of this university is pathetic. They offer you call centre job which was really shameful. There is no surety that they will give you proper placement. The course they are providing is technology and technical, and give a job regarding delivery boy, customer service, etc. It takes more than 4 to 5 years to get a placement but not in your field. The roles offered were customer service and delivery type of jobs, which was disgusting.

Placements: The placement over here is really good I had around 20 seniors out of which 17 of them got placed. Many well-known companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS and Wipro are the mass recruiters and the college itself recruits its students for different posts. The highest salary which was provided was around 50 thousand. Mostly, the roles of system analyst and programmer are provided. 50% of students got the internship from the college.

Placements: I don't know much about the placement opportunities as I am a fresher. But I have heard that the placement opportunities are good. The big companies like Amazon, Wipro, etc. visit our campus. The highest salary package offered in the whole university is 1 crore per annum. They provided placement for almost 1000 students from the whole university.

Placements: Placements are good only if you are a computer science or electrical and electronics Engineer. Mostly, software engineer posts. The job description depends on the company. For the 2017 batch, Amazon, Wipro, Ericsson and Ixia to name a few visited our campus. Almost 95% students of 2017 batch got job offers. The average salary is 3-4 LPA.

Placements: Here the placement is almost 100%. Last year, in 2016 there was about 100% placement. As there are many companies in the campus surroundings, therefore there is almost 100 percent placement. The campus placement is the best. The companies like the Microsoft, Intel, Philips, Dell, etc., come for the campus placement. Without competing for the studies there, a person can know about his/her job and their ability.

Placements: The placements for IT department are better than any other departments as we get 90% placements. More high-paying internships and jobs after placement are available. The companies like Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Dell, Himachal Pradesh, Wells Fargo, Ericsson, Zebronics, Bosch, etc. are a few of the highest package companies that conduct campus placements.

Placements: I got the placement in Dr Reddy's Lab in March, 2016. It is an awesome experience to join such an esteemed organisation which is well-established and one of the top pharma company in India. It gives you many opportunities in your life to grow. You will learn a lot.

Placements: The college placement cell is active in all terms. The overall placement percentage of students is overwhelming and considering earlier years, and it is definitely on the increasing side. CSE placements are to be looked forward to. Other branches though have an overwhelming response but computer science and engineering is the best course for the college, and that's quite transparent to people considering the student strength of the branch. Placements: In my batch, 80% of the eligible candidates were placed. Far better than the nearby B.Tech colleges. IT giants like TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Wipro are permanent mass recruiters. Also, many of the other small-scale companies like Sony, IXIA, etc. also participated.

Placements: Placements are not that good this year. Last year, they offered 96% and 94% during the last to last year. The highest package from here is around 14 lakhs per annum and the average is 7 lakhs per annum I think. Placements: The placement of my batch and my senior batch was through campus and as per the local need of business partners. The placement percentage in my batch was nearly 50%. The lowest salary offered was Rs 1.5 lac per annum and the highest offered was 2.5 lac per annum. Companies that visited were First Flight, Nerolac Paints, etc. 50% students got an internship and the stipend was Rs. 10000.

Placements: Placements were good. Around 90 percent of students were placed. The highest salary was 5 LPA, the lowest was 3.2 LPA and the average package was 3.5 LPA. TCS, Capgemini, Wells-Fargo visited for placements. Support executive, developer, tester, banker were the roles offered. No internship was allowed in our college. Hence, I cannot comment on the internship.

Placements: They arranged for 15 companies to conduct interviews at St. Josephs College at Richmond Road. Companies like HDFC Bank, Capgemini, Wipro, Thyrocare Technologies Ltd., Axis Bank, Jet Airways, Flipkart Exide Life Insurance, etc. They were mostly recruiting for finance, IT, mortgage and insurance agent positions.
