B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

It has good placements and really good faculty members.
Placements: Nearly 100% of placements are offered in my college. Due to the current market scenario, the salary packages offered by the companies are less than usual. The college has a dedicated placement team for great guidance. The college provides a great number of opportunities for paid and unpaid internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have smart boards but no clean environment. Labs have enough computers but an old-generation model. We have good hostels with a nice environment. The quality of the food is not that good. There is a Wi-Fi facility, but it is not very good.
Faculty: Semester exams are quite tough. We have good faculty members who are well-qualified. The pass percentage is 33%. The course curriculum is based on market standards. Here we are taught about industry-leading topics which greatly help us in our practical knowledge and real-life application of concepts.
Other: The college is highly academic-centric. It does not organises fests or parties. It does not have enough sports facilities.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027
Offered by Institute of Technical Education and Research

Detailed and genuine review for the college.
Placements: The placement scenario is pretty clear here. It is mostly because of the activities conducted by the placement cell that include aptitude training and mock interviews, resume-building workshops, pre-placement talks, tech training programs, etc. The institute has an impressive placement record and attracts renowned IT companies. Recruiters list includes Capgemini, Deloitte, Cognizant, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Bosch, GyanSys and many more. The maximum roles offered here are SDE and IT consultant. The salary package varies over a range with the average being 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have digitised classrooms. Library facilities are available throughout the lecture hours. There is access to Wi-Fi. We have sorted computer labs. They are well-set up. The institute provides hostel facilities. They are decent. I am not a hostel boarder though, but I believe facilities are good enough as I have known from my friends.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members at my institute have completed their studies at Elite Institutions in the country. Some are even research fellows at international organizations or universities. Hence, we have some of the best faculty members from across the country as professors who not just teach us but equally tell us how to apply the same knowledge in practical situations. As of now, all professors who have mentored me, I find it common that all of them are well-read and possess very good knowledge in their subject domain. They are forever ready to help students with any problem.
Other: The college crowd is good and appreciable when it comes to students giving support to events here.

BBA LL.B. (Hons.) - Batch of 2026
2.8
3Placements5Infrastructure3Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
Good infrastructure, faculty, but limited events, scholarship opportunities.
Placements: B.A. LL.B. as well as BBA LL.B. are both eligible to sit for placement, and the maximum number of students are taken. The company named Quislex recruits a number of students from our college. Other companies too come for recruitment. This year, in 2024, DWF Pune took a number of students from the batch 2020-2025 for internships. Generally, the minimum to maximum package goes from 12k to 30k, respectively.
Infrastructure: We have good facilities for Wi-Fi, e-library, and classrooms. Every classroom has 2 ACs, 1 whiteboard, 1 blackboard, and lots of benches. 24-hour Wi-Fi is available on the campus. Library timing is 10 am to 5 pm. College infrastructure is overall good. Hostel infrastructure is also good, no doubt, and it is just 200m away from college. But the food in the mess is just average according to the fee structure. For emergency health issues, an ambulance is provided to the students. Only in SOA CUP, sports and games are conducted.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced, except a few. Faculty members do not push students to go forward by themselves. It completely depends upon the student's interest; if he properly interacts with the teacher, he can get a lot of opportunities. The semester exams are not that difficult for daily class-attending students. 75% attendance and appearance in midterm exams are mandatory to get qualified for the end semesters. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in doing law since my 10th standard, and I particularly chose BBA LL.B. because I was also interested in knowing certain things about business administration. Things I wish would be better about the course are more practical training, real-world case studies, and more focus on cultural and diversity issues. There are very few events, fests, campus crowds, and connectivity in our Campus . The scholarship opportunity was there before 2 years; right now, there is no such scholarship scheme for the students. Extracurricular activities like poster making, essay, and debate competitions happen.

BBA LL.B. (Hons.) - Batch of 2028

It has great faculty members, a strong industry focus, and a good campus life.
Placements: About 70% of senior students from my course get placed. The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 9 LPA. Most of them got an average salary package of 20 LPA. Top recruiters are from corporate companies and legal firms like Deloitte, Lex Public, and Licet Consultancy. About 90% of students got internships in top legal firms and companies like Accenture and Deloitte. The top roles offered are HR management, legal counselor, etc.
Infrastructure: The course offers Wi-Fi, modern labs, spacious classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Hostels are clean, with good food in the mess and canteen. Medical care is available on campus. There are great sports facilities like space to play, and different sports events are also conducted.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, ensuring a solid understanding of the subjects. The teaching quality is engaging and thorough. The course curriculum is industry-relevant, preparing students well. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with a high pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course for its strong industry focus and comprehensive curriculum. The best parts are the practical learning and supportive faculty members. I wish there were more internships and updated teaching resources. The campus has vibrant events, a friendly crowd, good connectivity, and ample extracurricular. Scholarships are available for deserving students.

Good college, good facility, good teachers.
Placements: It’s a professional degree, so you don’t get placements, but yes, you can get an internship for your practice and for your knowledge to get better jobs or to perform well in your job. To add a little bit more to your profession, you can also get a stipend.
Infrastructure: Yes, they have good infrastructure, new buildings. It’s a new college. We are the first batch. Hostels also have good infrastructure, including your classes, labs, operation theatre, and hostel rooms, which are very good. You can get all the facilities, Wi-Fi facilities, everything.
Faculty: We have a pretty good faculty, including our senior professors, who are very experienced, and also young professors to interact with the students. The curriculum includes your different subjects like anatomy, physiology, and LPM subject in the first year. Then, you will be introduced to a few more subjects in the second year, then the third year and fourth year. You will have three internals per year and the semester, including practical and theory, both every year.
Other: Yes, campus is pretty good. We celebrate events. First, our annual functions, social camps. Surroundings are also very good. You have different clubs, your photography club, cultural club, gaming clubs, etc., for extracurricular activities.

Student’s review of SOA National Institute of Law.
Placements: The placement offers provided in the college are sometimes not up to the level of NLUs but it has been improving every year. The average package which was given this year was approximately around 20000 per month. 4 to 5 companies come to the college, for hiring which might increase in the future.
Infrastructure: The college campus is big. The classrooms are spacious but tend to be a little congested when there is full attendance. The library sometimes fails to provide books as it runs out of stock. The hostel rooms are a little less spacious, especially the four-students sharing rooms.
Faculty: The teachers in the institution are helpful. There are a few teachers who are very experienced, helpful and kind towards the students. They take interest in mentoring the students and guiding them. There are a few teachers who are not that experienced.
Other: The campus life at this college is not what one would generally expect. It is not at par with its other sister institutions. The college campus does not have any gymnasium and there are no sports facilities, indoor or outdoor. There is fest organized in the month of March and April.
