A good college is tier-II.

Placements: It is a tier-II college. There is a placement cell. The average package offered is 9-9.5 LPA. Summer internship maximum package is Rs. 75,000 per month and the lowest is no package given. There are 100% placements for both summer internship and final placements. In marketing, mostly sales profile is offered.

SIMSR: Top notch faculty members.

Placements: Placements are moderate in terms of packages. However SIMSR has a 100% placement record every year. If you manage to have good communication skills you can easily secure a package above 10 Lacs. The average package is 9 - 9.5 with the lowest being 6.

Review about SIMSR Mumbai.

Placements: In summers, the junior batch gets placed with an average salary of Rs. 15,000 per month. The seniors batch is also almost placed with an average package of 9.5 LPA. In our campus, many reputed companies visit the college to recruit. The roles offered are related to the marketing and sales, finance, operations and HR.

A good college in terms of ROI.

Placements: Placements are good. Companies coming are good but the avg. package is around 10 LPA. The scenario for the internships is average. However, profiles for operations field are not that good. It's best for marketing field and then finance. But a good college in terms of ROI.

The college has good placement, infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: There are off-campus placements for us, but place assistance should be provided. Also, to get us connected with alumni and develop a good network of industry and academics. Need to collaborate other top B-school so that there are participation and networking. Toastmasters is a nice club for refining one's skills.

Amazing Infrastructure, Autonomous College but Professors need some help.

Placements: 80-90 percent of students were offered job in Campus placements in our year as well as senior year. The highest package offered was 16lpa and the lowest 2.5lpa, but maximum students were offered somewhere around 3-5lpa. A few companies that were a part of our placement process are Godrej, LTI, Accenture, Morgan Stanley, ZS, IFB, Daikin, Voltas, Sanmar and many more. Generally students are offered roles like Associate Engineer/Data Analyst. College does not help in getting direct internships as o...

A review on KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research.

Placements: The placements are average. The college focuses only on getting everyone placed. The college does not care about the aspirations of the students. The placements at KJ Somaiya is purely based on luck. You won't get shortlisted for the company that you want. The placement committee members (student-driven committee selected by placement coordinator sir) do a lot of politics with the companies of their interest. 95% of the students get placed. Rest of them remain unplaced or backed out of campus pl...

Some sweet and bitter experience.

Placements: Multiple companies on board. But the package offered is less and college inflates the facts. The companies are decent but profiles are not up to the mark. Most of the students get placed under 10 Lacs per annum. IT and BFSI are the biggest recruiters. If you're looking for MBA in operations then please don't look for core profiles.

SIMSR was something great. But future is a big question!

Placements: Placement is average at simsr. 70% of the batch gets between 8-10 LPA. 20% gets below 8 LPA & rest 10% gets above 10 LPA. You get good brands on campus but the profiles are not so great. The quality of placements is stagnant for last 3 years. Average figure hovers around 8.5 to 9.5 LPA. 100% of the batch gets placed. The management of the college has no priorities for placements. They consider placements as a bi-product & burden.

It has world-class facilities and still improvising.

Placements: The placements are good in terms of the number of companies visiting the college. Big brands do come to the college (we are not allowed to list them). As many students studying in the college, the average placement rate has gone down, otherwise, it would be very nice. The placement cell works very hard all the time to get new companies to the campus. Do visit the website for actual details on average.

Good infrastructure and ambience.

Placements: Since ours is the mechanical stream, our placements are not at par with other streams. Out of 120 students in mechanical, around 10 to 15 are placed in the technical field. All others are picked by IT, sales, and marketing companies. The packages for placements in technical fields are quite decent. The salary in the technical field goes up to 5.5 LPA. Coming to internships, there are several opportunities given to the students.

Overall, the college is great.

Placements: The placements were very good last year, but the previous year's record was good. The companies visited were Accenture, Infosys, Bank of America, Amazon, Capgemini, Directi, Mt Educare, Tech Mahindra, L&T Infotech etc. The average package offered was about 4 LPA to 4.5 LPA.

The placements and the faculty of the college are good.

Placements: The placements are good. Morethan 250 companies are coming to the campus. The college does take placements very seriously. The committee is hardworking and determined to place the students as early as possible. The college provides 100% placements every year and is doing well.

A place worth to go for an MBA.

Placements: The placements are fine here. You get good opportunities to sit. The average CTC is around 8-9 lacs per annum, but that not it. We have many companies who offer more than 10 also. The highest goes up to 23 lacs per annum, and the lowest goes up to 6 lacs per annum. Most of the offers are from banking and IT sector. By the end of course, normally 95% of the batch is placed. Roles vary from consulting to customer relationship manager. There is a placement cell that supports you throughout the plac...

The college has good placements, infrastructure and facilities, and satisfying faculty.

Placements: The placements of computer science and information technology are high with more than the average package, but the placements of the other branches, i.e., mechanical, electronics and telecommunication and electronics are poor with less than an average package offer. A few companies are visiting for this three type of engineering branches.

There are some sweet and sour memories in these fantastic four years of engineering.

Placements: The placements are nice. Mostly, our college offers 100% placements. Our placement cell is also very active. This year, the highest salary on campus is 14 LPA, and the average is around 3.5 LPA. Companies like Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Microsoft, India Valley, etc. visit our campus. Mostly, 60% students get internships in start UPS or companies. Overall, I'll rate it as 4.5, out of 5.

A good experience for a fresher.

Placements: The highest package is of 26 lacs per annum for a finance profile. The lowest is around 5 lacs for marketing profiles. HR placements are not great due to lack of sufficient batch strength. Overall, good placements for people within the 0-2 experience bracket. For those with more experience, there are limited options to meet expectations.

The best ROI, amazing campus life.

Placements: The best placements considering the fees. The placements were offered best for the finance and marketing with good core profiles at offer. HR placements are average with batch of only 15 people. Big brands visit the campus for the finance and marketing. Almost all major industries are part of the placements season. The placements range from 6 lacs per annum to 25 lacs per annum with the average of 9 lacs per annum.

An opportunity to meet the best people and the environment is amazing.

Placements: The placements were satisfactory, and the policies transparent. More than 90% of the batch placed before the last trimester. The average package is as per the industry standards, competitive to tier 1 and 2 business schools. Big brands are associated with the college, giving high ROI to the students.

Fine placements with good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements offered are good for the freshers who don't have any specific expectation about the profile and salary. The students with work experience face quite a lot of dilemma due to profiles offered and the salary offered. Sometimes it leads to compromise between these factors or both.
