    Q:   Who can take admission to the BA programme offered at SSUS?

    A: 

    Candidates seeking admission to BA at SSUS in any of the specialisation must meet the minimum SSUS BA eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board recognised by the University can apply for admission to the BA programme. Student of Sanskrit/ Non-Sanskrit stream are eligible for admission to the BA course. The maximum age limit of candidates should not exceed 22 years as on 1st day of June in the year of admission.

    Q:   What is the median package offered to BA students at SSUS?

    A: 

    According to the NIRF report for the year 2023,  SSUS BA median package offered to UG three-year programme students for 2022 stood at INR 1.80 LPA. However, for the year 2021, it was INR 1.60 LPA. A total of 12 students were placed during the placement process.

    Q:   How many students can do BA at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit?

    A: 

    SSUS BA seats for each course shall remain as per existing regulations, except in case of open courses for which there shall be a minimum of 15 students and maximum of 75 students per batch (subject to a marginal increase of 10). Each student shall register for the courses in the prescribed registration form provided by the University in consultation with the faculty advisor who then shall permit registration on the basis of the preferences filled by the student and availability of seats in the programme.
