Absolutely dissatisfied with the management.

Placements: There are no placements at all. They make many promises at the time of admission, but those are fake promises. There is no chance of getting any placement after completing your course from BFIT. Don't submit your documents in the college; your future will be destroyed.

Dissatisfied with the facilities provided by the college. The management is not good.

Placements: Placements provided in the college were average. Marketing companies visit our college and hire just 2 to 3 students from the whole batch. A few technical companies visit our college, but they offer low salary packages to the placed students. In my opinion, our college was not good regarding placements. Other colleges provided good assistance to students regarding placements, and they were least concerned about it. The college did not provide internships, and students have to search those on the...

The worst college India can have.

Placements: There are no placements for mass communication students. No placements even for those who score top in the exams. They promise that there will be the placements and many companies will come, but nothing happens over here. Literally, they are cheating the students and their parents.

I made a mistake getting an admission in this college.

Placements: The placements are good, but there is a CDC team that gives us grades and they have to approve your placement. Marketing is good in this college, finance is okay and never think about the international business. A lot of companies conduct drives, but you are allowed only to one company if selected, and you cannot choose any other company.

Average placements in the college.

Placements: Overall placements from the college was also not upto the mark as the students wanted. Average placements went upto 3-4 Lacs per annum and the highest went upto 5 Lacs per annum only which was not very good as compared to the fees submitted to the college.

Placements: The placement is quite low. A very few companies come for placements. Students mainly rely on pool placements. Honest Review of a Coerian.

Placements: In the name of placement, the maximum companies that do come are not even technical. Even small colleges in Dehradun area organize pool campus drives, which are a lot better than the companies that come here. Moreover, the training and placement cell is not helpful at all. They do not invite good companies, as the colleges in Dehradun do. The college just eat our money in the name of so called "Value Added programme" and "Placements". More than that I heard students are now being forced to write...

BFIT is the worst college in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Placements: No placements are provided to students of the mathematics department. There is always a shortage of teachers. Only three teachers are available for five subjects, and you have no choice. BFIT make their ads and consultancy all over India especially in Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh. BFIT is a group of industrial business rather than institutions.

Placements: There is no placement record for the food tech students until today. Even for industrial training, you have to search industries by yourself, and for the training, they charge Rs. 20,000 extra, while they will keep busy staff in management only and don't let him/her guide you.

The college does not provide any placement opportunities to the students.

Placements: There is hardly 2 to 3% placement in civil engineering. They call low budget companies. Mostly fake companies come to the college. In my time 90% companies for civil engineering which they called were fake. If any company hires someone, it does not give call letter to him/ her later.

If you want to make your career, then go to some other college.

Placements: The placements in the civil on the campus is almost zero. There are no civil companies, which come over there and take the students. The only companies come over there is the BPO and call centre and that too of the low package that is around 1.8-2.6 LPA. Sometimes CSE companies visit the campus, which gives the maximum package of 3-4 LPA.

Dissatisfied with the condition of the college.

Placements: The placement was not there for the mechanical engineers. CS and IT have the placement options, but no option is available for the mechanical. Also, there are fake companies for the placement like O2. A fake placement fair was also organised with absolute no original companies and all were false.

I am absolutely not impressed with the faculty and placements. Not even the security is tight.

Placements: The placement records are not much good, but companies like Hero and small industries visit the college to select the deserving ones. The placements records are just average, not any multinational companies visit the college. They just have the collaboration with some local companies.

I have spent my 2 years, and I will suggest you not to join this college because of its ranking.

Placements: Talking about placements, in this college, I am currently studying and saw that every year 2 to 3 companies come every year for all branches in B.Tech course. The number of students selected ranges from 7 to 10 only including every branch, in some cases, I have seen that only 2 to 3 students get campus selection from whole CSE department. Talking about the package offered here is every company which came here offered 10k-15k per month for students. There is also pool campus organised by the coll...

BFIT is a bad college in Dehradun.

Placements: The college placements are zero. It's a bad college in India. Only BPOs visit. The salary is 8000-10000 only. The student is not placed in good companies. No other big companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS etc. come. Faculty members do not support for placements. Placement department is not available in the college.

Just the mistake of my life- engineering.

Placements: It's a myth for COERians. Except for BPO companies, I don't know whether any technical company came for placements. There was just 1 technical company coming for CS, but till now, they don't get joining letter. The other branch students were sitting idle. The irony is that our TPO left us in middle of the session and our college didn't bother to hire a TPO for us, which was a height of negligence. Our college site is showing 100% placements, but they didn't place a single student from college. ...

The worst college in the world. I was unable to cope with the environment since the beginning.

Placements: The least and worst salary packages a graduate or a postgraduate can get here. Whether a student is a graduate or postgraduate, he/she is placed likewise but is offered 10,000 for MBA or PGDM. They also will not teach you anything great. The highest salary offered for graduates is 17,000 and for a PGDM student which I know is 35,000 in a city like Mumbai. For BBA students, only one or two companies visited for the internship and no proper placements. Only the salesperson profile is available to ...

The library and infrastructure of the college is just average. Hostel facilities are quite poor as the condition of rooms and washrooms are not up to the mark. Rate of students getting placed is quite low and mostly BPO's visits college for the placement drive with an average package of 1.75-2.50 LPA. Faculty is also not very good in terms of knowledge.
