Good faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: This is a medical college and not some engineering or Business college, we don't get placements here, but we get internship opportunity here for sure. And we get paid for the internship period as well. In order to get a job, we need to apply for jobs ourselves, no companies visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in our college are newly remodelled, hygienic and air-conditioned. All types of books required for our course are available in the library. College fest is conducted every September or October for 5 days with stalls, activities, ceremonies and food parties. Room have three beds overall per room and has two lights and fans. Mess menu is good and provides chicken thrice a week. Registration for hostel is easy and requires only two or three form fillings. Locality is also pleasant.
Faculty: Faculty was nice and cooperative and teach us in a systematic way. They teach us with the help of power point presentations in a detailed manner, they gave assignments, they asked questions during class to make us more attentive. In postings, they explained each case in a proper manner, how to treat patients and how to get information about that particular disease, how to make patients not panic, patient and doctor relationship etc.

SVIMS Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women in Tirupati - The best choice.
Placements: There are no placements offered here at SVIMS Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women. But as in every medical college, they offer an internship program of one year for every student. The internship payment here for MBBS students is Rs. 25,600 per month.
Infrastructure: The best thing about SVIMS Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women here in Tirupati is its infrastructure. The college campus itself is very vast and beautiful in every aspect. There are wide walkways all around with trees shading over from both sides. The college building is big, spacious, and well-maintained. The college grounds are very big, wide, and huge. Talking about the hostel facility, first-year students are given a separate hostel. Rest all students are given another hostel. The mess is the same for everyone and the food they give is average.
Faculty: Every professor here is well-qualified and meets our expectations. I feel that the teaching quality is very good and they follow the syllabus provided by the NMC itself. Main exams are conducted yearly. Exams are comparatively tougher than the other universities in Andhra Pradesh. We need to have a minimum of 75% of attendance in theory classes and 80% of attendance for practical classes, to be able to attend exams. We have to secure a minimum of 50% marks to be passed on to next year.
Other: It has always been my dream to become a doctor when grow up. I genuinely feel that Sri Padmavathi is giving everything I always wanted to have. They shape to be a good doctor. The only thing drawback thing I feel here is there are less fests and programs. This doesn't mean it is boring. We have sports fests, graduation week, and other programs too. There are many places to explore here and would be the best choice for those who love greenery and nature.
