B.Tech. in Biotechnology - Batch of 2028

The faculty are good, campus is good, and placements are average.
Placements: To be honest, this is the first batch from my course that is going to get placed. In my college , at 2021 the course has been started so till now there is not a placed person. And nearly 80% of the people in my college are going to do M.Tech. in India as well as foreign countries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is so good but if you compare it to the KTR campus, it's way too small. So if it is not compared, then it is a good college campus and also the greenery is so good. Hostel food are so good and the accommodation are also clean and tidy.
Faculty: The teachers are so good and they teach us very nicely and they are always willing to help us in any ways. The teachers are highly qualified and most of them are PhD holders at Anna University, Chennai . This course is a highly lab-oriented course. And the lab facilities are so good and advanced.

Right choice for a bright future!
Placements: The university offers good placements with a 90% success rate for eligible students and has world-class recruiters like Google, Microsoft, Accenture, and Adobe. We have strong placements with top MNCs, and the university is ready to support us for our future.
Infrastructure: We have good and supportive faculty for the course. The hostel infrastructure is also good, and the food is absolutely great. We have a gym and good sports facilities like badminton, table tennis, chess, and carroms. The hostel fee starts from 180,000 based on the room specifications we choose.
Faculty: We have two semesters per year, with two CLA (mid-term) exams each semester. The teachers are knowledgeable and ready to share their expertise with students, and the exams are conducted strictly so that only eligible students achieve higher grades.
Other: We have nine events per semester celebrating various festivals and conducting awareness programs, debates, and more, which enrich campus life. The university takes a strong stance against ragging and drugs, and only formal attire is allowed on campus, reflecting the institution's commitment to discipline.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2026

Good placements are offered in our college.
Placements: Very low level of students only got the placements. The highest package is 8 lakh; the lowest package is 4 lakh. The average is 2 lakh. Good companies are offering jobs to the college students. But, nowadays placements are poor.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was neat in the collage, but the dogs are always on the campus; no Wi-Fi for us. The library is okay, the quality is so good, and the canteen food was so good. Medical facilities are there, and games are good. No mess is there in our college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, very talented, and qualified for good teaching for us. Students are made ready for industry. The teaching quality was excellent and beautiful, with a friendly and humble tone. The pass percentage was 40 percent in the exam.
Other: BCom is a good degree and basic. The improvement was to reduce the rules and placements. Events, festivals, campus crowds, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, extracurricular activities, etc. are so good.

Dissatisfied by infrastructure, decent placements, and good faculty.
Placements: 80% of students were placed this year, with the highest package being 50 LPA and an average of 3 LPA. The placements are joint with SRM KTR, so we have great exposure to big companies like Adobe and also startup companies. My own cousin got placed with a gross package of around 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good. The campus is really small, which is disappointing given the amount of fee we pay, and the classrooms are not air-conditioned. However, the labs are very good, well-equipped, and well-maintained. The hostel mess food is not good at all.
Faculty: The faculty are very friendly and well-spoken. They have great knowledge, and if we make an effort to connect with them, we can gain more opportunities by learning their skills. The curriculum is relevant because it’s updated every three years, and the semester exams are really hard, but the pass percentage is 90.

I am studying in SRM Ramapuram.
Placements: TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, Flipkart, Walmart, Wipro, Infosys, Google, and many others recruit from our college. Courses offered for B.Tech students include ECE with specializations, Mechanical, Civil, CSE with specializations like AI & ML, Cloud Computing, Gaming Technology, IoT, Cybersecurity, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a sports complex where you can play badminton, cricket, volleyball, basketball, and indoor games. The hostel has Wi-Fi, and computer labs are equipped with central AC. The library has an extensive collection of books and is open from Monday to Saturday, with timings from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in both labs and classes. Classes are conducted by highly qualified teachers who also organize tests. CDC classes improve students' speaking skills and help them prepare for interviews. Occasionally, teachers ask students to prepare presentations on specific topics.
Other: Event clubs encourage students to participate and develop their skills.

College is okay but a great place to create memories and learn a lot in life.
Placements: They always focus on 100% placement. They will do their best to get you a placement and cooperate. However, cooperation is based on the teacher or the person in charge. Some departments have responsive in-charges, while others don't. Also, only after all the students from the main branch are placed will others receive good placements.
Infrastructure: The girls' hostel is better compared to the boys', and the college infrastructure doesn't feel like a college. Construction is still ongoing. They destroyed a basketball court to build a new one but won't let us use it. The canteen doesn't have much variety and is a bit pricey.
Faculty: Partiality is based on each department. I am a CSE student, so it's fine, but other departments have their issues. Don't worry about exams; eventually, you will pass. Just focus on your health and placement. CSE teachers are okay, but whatever you do, have a good image.
Other: There is no freshers' party or farewell.
