Education and college life are great.

Placements: Around 70% of students got placed as the remaining applied for higher studies. I believe, the highest package was 53 LPA and the lowest was 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Google, Amazon, and IBM. Internships are offered for second, third and final year students.

Infrastructure: We have libraries with all sorts of books, mechanical labs with CNC machines and many new technological machines. Our classrooms are well maintained. We have smartboards. We have computer CAD labs. I'm a day scholar student. But as far as I know, the hostels are pretty neat. No big complaints and if any arise, they are soon sorted. We have a core WhatsApp group with our director of SRM in it. Any complaint can be raised there, and it will be soon acknowledged by him and sorted.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. All are very knowledgeable and teach with their best abilities. They provide easy-to-learn materials. This course curriculum is the best AIML with a mechanical domain is provided only in two colleges in the whole of India, and the SRM Vadapalani city campus has it. Semester exams are pretty difficult since the subject isn't easy. We have a 60-40 rule: 60% internal and 40% external marks and you need 75% attendance to appear for the semester exams.

Other: The best thing is that we get such a rare course like this in the heart of the city. Nothing better to improve in our course. Our college is known for culture and events. Each and every week we have some symposium. But the problem is that our auditorium is pretty small, which makes it hard.

One of the best colleges in our city.

Placements: 80 percent of students in my course were placed in big companies. The highest package in my course was 500,000 per year, the average was 300,000, and the lowest was 100,000. The top recruiting companies were Star Vijay, Sun TV, Outhits, Thalaimurai, and many more.

Infrastructure: The classrooms had AC facilities, a mini auditorium, a photography studio, and an animation lab. The quality of the facilities in my college was very good, including the canteen, which provided very delicious and healthy food to us.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching was, without a doubt, one of the best. The teachers were a pillar of support. The course curriculum is relevant, and the semester exams are quite easy to clear. The pass percentage is above 95.

Other: I chose this course because it is my favorite, and I have a passion for the cinema field.

I am dissatisfied because there is no sports facility as our college doesn't have ground.

Placements: Placements at our college are quite good because various companies visit our college to select students and offer only 2 students who have more than 7 out of 10 CGPA. Students who score below 6 or 7 CGPA have no placements. They have to find jobs on their own.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure inside the classroom is very good. Our college does not have any kind of ground or sports activities. It has a library with great infrastructure and a seating system. It has a good canteen. The only thing which is negative is it does not have any ground.

Faculty: Our teachers are a little helpful and qualified. It is a little bit difficult to understand the language because they don't speak English. They only speak in the local language, which is Tamil in Chennai. Students are out of Tamilnadu. It is a bit hard for them to understand the language. Exams are quite easy for the semester. We do not need to do more hard work because it is easy to pass semesters as our college does not have that much strict correction.

Other: I chose this course because of my passion for learning about web designing, web development, and new languages in the computer like Python, C+, and Java. Our college does not have any kind of events. There are very rare events compared to different colleges.

Achieve greater opportunities by choosing SRM Vadapalani.

Placements: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with AIML specialization is only offered at SRM Vadapalani. Around 80% of students get placed with great annual packages. The highest so far is 53 LPA (from my knowledge), with top companies like L&T, Amazon, and many more.

Infrastructure: Our college is a fully centralized campus. Desktops for each student are provided. Smartboards, library, Wi-Fi connection—everything is available. If more books are needed than intended, we are allowed to visit the KTR campus. There is even a room for organizing your own startup plans, and the college will sponsor you and help you grow. Hostels, food, accommodation, and transportation are all available. Any complaints raised will be addressed as soon as possible.

Faculty: Our teachers get training from top professionals. Professionals who work in the specific field also train our teachers. We have an app where all the study materials get posted. Our institute is the only one with an A++ grade and a 60-40 mark system, where 60% is for internals and 40% is for the main semester exams.

Other: I chose this course because it’s a new and developed version of Mechanical Engineering, where even women can study. Things to improve might be just furniture and a few other small things which we mention every month during meetings, and they get rectified. We don't have a big auditorium. Even though we don't have a ground to play, our college is first in sports. If you're interested in any sport, our college will take care of all the facilities. I don't even want to mention events because every week we have some event or the other—fests, culturals, industrial visits, workshops, seminars, and many more interesting, valuable activities are held at my college.

All the faculty members are very polite and humble.

Placements: The placements are average. Not many companies visited the college for mass hiring. Overall experience was not that great. The average package was around 3.5 LPA, and some students were able to grab placements. Also arrange facilities for internships. Personally, I intend to go for PSUs through GATE, as I don't intend to enter the hardcore corporate life.

Infrastructure: The library is very neat, and all books are available in it. The importance of sports is less, but the ground structure for all games is large. But they encourage students who are willing to join in extracurricular activities. Our college management conducts more festivals for students, and my college hopes students are happy to study in this college.

Faculty: I think there are many faculty members, and these faculty members help very much the students in the curriculum activities. There are 10 semesters. Semester conducts one examination. The examination was taken after the completion of that semester. Faculty members are well behaved and are very friendly. It could have been much better if they were a little qualified from their current qualification.

Infrastructure: We have mechanical labs, automation labs, heat and transfers labs, fluid mechanics labs, material testing labs, manufacturing labs, CAD lab and many more laboratories. We have a library with numerous books. Hostels are pretty good. If any complaints are raised, they get solved.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. Easy-to-learn materials will be provided by teachers. Course curriculum is very relevant; in fact, in-depth teaching is offered. Semester exams are pretty difficult. We have a 60%-40% ratio where 60 is internal and 40 is external. You need 75% attendance to appear for semester exams.

Other: I chose this course because all over India, only SRM Vadapalani has this diverse and versatile course. AIML with Mechanical is a great course. Nothing to be changed about course. SRM is known for events. From culturals to symposiums, it's always paced up. Every week we have an event.
