I am satisfied with the infrastructure and teachers of our college.
Placements: We had campus interviews, but we did not have any civil related companies to get placed in our core field. We got placed in some IT fields with a decent salary of more than Rs. 15,000 per month for freshers. Around 8 % of students got placed in IT from a civil group.
Infrastructure: Our college played a moderate role in infrastructure. Labs were very well-maintained with quality and hi-fi equipment. The hostel facility was somewhat fine. The food served was better, but the rooms were not up to the mark. Sports and games were good enough.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were not well qualified. Many students of our college were getting placed as lecturers after completing the degree. So you could understand how their teaching will be. But I would like to appreciate the HODs of every department because they are the ones making their department to get passed and also helping us in every situation. During our course duration, HOD was friendly.
Other: I selected civil engineering with interest because my father is also a building contractor. I like the course a lot. I wish that students of civil engineering should be taken for a site visit once in a month. Campus interviews should be arranged in our course.

We have the best placement opportunities in our college.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students were placed. Almost 5 LPA to 10 LPA is the range of salary packages offered to students. The assistant engineer is the role offered to students. For core companies, we get many jobs like civil engineer, a mechanical engineer.
Infrastructure: We have a good library in college and a separate hostel for boys and a separate hostel for girls. The college has very fast Wi-Fi issued to students by their ID number. Classrooms are very spacious and comfortable. A huge auditorium is also present.
Faculty: We have well-experienced faculty in our college, and they teach very well. We have all the laboratory in college, mainly for the skill development programmes are great. We have a major course for core related programs like CAD for civil engineering and Java for computer science engineering.
Other: Civil engineering is always the best.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placement officer's poor communication and response.
Placements: The automobile engineering is one of the unique and classy streams to go with if you have the passion for vehicles in this particular institute, it is little difficult to find the placement for automobile students instead, you can attend the off-campus drives and get the job done. The placement officers will guide you instead.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge and beautiful classrooms are regularly maintained neatly. We don't have proper lab facility for automobile department. The university must build the proper labs particularly for automobile department. We don't expect the management to build labs.
Faculty: We have very minimal faculty, and they are friendly too. Instead of choosing automobile department, you can choose the mechanical stream, it has huge faculty from other streams because of the crowd. They do have some placements for their students.
Other: Symposiums, tech fest, cultural events, and NEN are conducted in the college.

Poor faculty, good infrastructure. A college for the average students.
Placements: The placements are a few here for really outstanding students. Most of the average students have no chance at placements of any kind. There are however good supporting staff members, who help the students in joining internships at good companies but that is again for extraordinary students only.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good. There are over 8 huge blocks with over 300 classrooms catering to over 8000 students. There are good labs, clean water and restroom facilities on all floors. There is a hostel for men and women. Sports facilities are available with well-maintained grounds. There is a free of cost medical centre with admitting beds for students inside the campus. There are over 6 canteens and 1 cafe (coffee day) inside the campus.
Faculty: The course curriculum is standard and follows the central guideline. The faculty, however, could be improved vastly, there are exceptional staff, good staff and a lot of bad staff. The college needs a monumental change in staff to cater to students in the best possible way.
Other: Few events happen around the campus barring the usual state festival celebrations, boring workshops and club events. There is a cultural function held in March every year, which is the equivalent of an LKG annual day, literally. The campus crowd is okay, there is no Wi-Fi facility, but mobiles are allowed. Casual clothing is allowed. The scholarships are not available. The general environment is free but not fun.

Day by day status is going down.
Placements: Placement is just really bad. We don't have a proper placement cell. In our batch, no company turned up. But earlier, the placement is quite good. They did a pretty good job. College management is not good at all. The main problem is, they are only for money, nothing else.
Infrastructure: I can say, the fee was quite cheap in our time. We did our course at a lower cost compared with others colleges in Chennai. Nowadays, they increased the fee a little bit higher, that's the reason students are coming less. Lab and classroom are good enough. Canteen available in the hostel is not good. Mainly the food is not good.
Faculty: In my time, HOD is not good at all. He was not really helping minded. But the others teachers are really good. Mainly Malti mam was good. Lab facility for ECE is good. Mathematics faculty were awesome. They did a great job in our college. Few teachers really helped a lot. Workshop and all are little less.

Other: St peters university has opened the engineering departments after becoming a deemed university just for business with no placement. The level of education is average . The college is lease bothered about the well-fair for the students. It standard of education went down as soon it became a deemed university . There is only a hand full of good faculty to guide the students. Any issue the first thing the college ask is only cash. The chairman was the ex-education minister of TM and did not agree to sponsor companies to come for placement.
