This college is not at all worth the fees. Hostel life is pathetic.

Placements: Advantages of our college are placements have been quite good. Companies like E&Y, Deloitte, PwC, HDFC, Godrej, Philips, Adani Wilmar, Berger, etc., recruited students from our college. Dabur and Kellogg's offered PPOs to students. Our placement cell and professors did a great job to make students get placed. But there are some advantages like some of the salary packages offered are very low. Some marketing students have been recruited for insurance sales jobs, which any 12th standard passed out...

Overall, our college is good.

Placements: Students from the first batch of the MBA department have been placed in reputed companies. Some of the recruiters for our college are Deloitte, PWC, Ernst & Young, SREI, Kellogg's, Berger, Goodricke, Godrej, HDFC Bank, Philips Healthcare, etc. Thus, overall, placements were good for the first batch.

It is a great place for knowledge and education, but not to get a job.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Placement officer and placement cell in our college are rude. Students with work experience have to settle for jobs with a low salary than their previous jobs. Students who left jobs with a salary package ranges between 4.5-5 LPA, have to settle with a salary package ranges between 3.5-4 LPA jobs. On requesting to a placement officer, he tells of getting a job on our own, and that placement is a complimentary service to the course. If students get a company...

I am extremely disappointed with placements so far. Don't get lured by the brand name of Xavier's.

Placements: Placements in college are extremely disappointing. For SIP, all the placements are that of unpaid internship. For final placement, the average salary offered is between 3 LPA to 5 LPA. For Finance and HR, the salary package offered hardly crosses 4 LPA. But, in Marketing as there are incentives given, some placements are above 5 LPA; that too very few. M.A. students appear in pool placements with BMS, B.Com M.Com M.A. Economics. The roles on offer can do without M.A. graduates as well, so the...

Recommended if looking for a comfortable yet disciplined campus life with professors quite new.

Placements: The commers section were placed in quite reputed companies including ones like Deloit. However, the overall placement rate was not much impressive, considering it was the first batch. Pretty many GOT internship especially from mass com dept. Pretty many were encouraged for further studies and were even hired as professors.

It is a very good university with great educational facilities.

Placements: The college provides very good placement opportunities for almost every department. CM Mamata Banerjee has openly told all the universities in Bengal to follow St. Xavier's model. I am a student of mass communication. Our senior batch students have got good internships. Also, companies are visiting the campus for placements.

St. Xavier's University, Kolkata.

Placements: The college provides placement based on academic and non-academic performance. They have various pay scales ranging on the capability of the student and the company hiring the student. Although, placements will start in 2021 when the first batch passes out.

Good Infrastructure Excellent Faculty.

Placements: Since It a fresh batch. There are no more placements till now. But we have a placement cell in our university. The placements jn our university will be very good as St. Xavier's is just not a name It's a brand and that's what companies and institutes look for.

Best university in Kolkata affiliated by CBCS, professional course, huge syllabus as compare to DU.

Placements: The university is completely new and is in its first year of inception, and falls under Nova University. But this college has great placement cell as you can compare it with St. Xavier's College (autonomous) Park Street campus. The university is affiliated with CBCS, but the college is affiliated with Calcutta University, and after few years, the college also comes under University, so, you can enjoy a great benefit. From 2018 onwards, the university is also going to start MBA programs through X...

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 25 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra, Tata, etc. Many students got internships in top companies. Top roles are offered in this course.

Placements: In our college, around 45-50% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like Deloitte, Khadims, Reliance, etc., visit our campus. The top role offered is customer relationship management. The salary package offered is 3 LPA.

It is an awesome college, and I recommend students to take admission to this college.

Placements: Few students got the highest job that is for civil services, and about 70% of the students from our course got placed. The salary package offered in our course ranges between 1.2-3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, HGS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Karvy, etc., visit our campus for placements. Few students from our course got an internship at the college.

Placements: Placements in our college are good for all the specialisations. Many well-known companies visited our campus to recruit students. Some of them are Delloite, EY, etc. I also attended placements, and it was extremely helpful. Almost 90% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package offered in our course ranges from 6 LPA - 8 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, IBM, UBS, Infosys, Adidas, etc., visit our college for placements. Placements: 1. 20% students were placed in my course. 2. The highest salary is 50000, the lowest is 10000 and the average is 30000. Biology is the main field here. 80% of the students got internships from science companies.
