Modern facilities and improved technologies.

Placements: Those students who were willing to do so were placed. Most of them opted for higher studies, but even then the university provides ample placement opportunities. Some of them got placed in Cognizant, TCS, and other companies as well. Overall, it rests upon how good the student is.

Satisfied with my decision to take admission in St Xavier's University Kolkata.

Placements: Placements are obviously given to Master's students, but having a good CGPA can help undergraduate students to get placements. Companies working with finance, marketing come for recruitments. Internships are also provided by the college. Most of the students get placed after their degree.

Our college provides good infrastructure.

Placements: Around 20% of students got placed in our college. It is very difficult to get placements. Placement chances are very low. If you did not have good grades or get an arrear, you won't get any placements in this college. Interships are easy to get. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Wipro, ITC, TCS, and Infosys.

Honest Review of St. Xavier's University, Kolkata by a Mass Communication student.

Placements: I am pursuing a B.A. in Mass Communication, and my expected graduation year is 2027. 89% of the students in the course were placed, with the highest package offered being 30 LPA in the field of MBA. Top recruiting companies for our course include ABP, Zee, SVF, etc. Additionally, 70% of the students secured internships from companies such as ABP, Zee, SVF, etc. The top roles offered in my course are news reporter, anchor, mass communicator, etc.

Our college has great faculty, amazing infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Law department began in the year 2019. So there haven't been any placements but college provides great internship opportunities. Other departments like B.Com BMS and MBA get good placement opportunities. College has goodwill as it would be having a great placement cell.

I have a pretty good experience here.

Placements: Almost everyone gets an internship here, and many students get a job as well. The placement cell of the university helped the students in getting suitable jobs and internships. Companies like Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, PWD, Kotak Life Insurance, etc., visited the college for placements.

Good infrastructure and facilities makes us one of a kind.

Placements: The top recruiting companies of our placement cell includes SVF, Axis Bank, Dabur, Berger, Deloitte, Godrej etc. 100 percent students of our batch got placed in summer internship last year, in various law firms and individual advocates. The top roles includes legal consultants, litigation, judiciary and legal firm associates. We are the second batch of our 5 year B.A. LL.B. course, thus no batch passed out yet and received placements. The average package of our course is unknown, but the other ...

Great infrastructure and activities.

Placements: The university has great placements and every year a large percentage of students get placed across all courses. Since B.com LL.B. is a new course, there have not been any placements as of yet. However, it is expected that there will be good placement opportunities and plenty of students will be recruited.

It is the best college in Eastern India.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. MNCs visited here, and the highest salary package offered was around 15 LPA. You have to pay extra for each company you sit. Also, you have to make sure to read the terms and conditions before you apply to any company. I suggest making sure to sit for placements. I could not sit because I was suffering from Typhoid, and I still regret it.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed with good job roles in different well known companies. Placements were good enough considering it to be the first year and first batch of the MBA programme. Almost all students got internship opportunities from the batch of 2019.

It is a great place for knowledge and education, but not to get a job.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Placement officer and placement cell in our college are rude. Students with work experience have to settle for jobs with a low salary than their previous jobs. Students who left jobs with a salary package ranges between 4.5-5 LPA, have to settle with a salary package ranges between 3.5-4 LPA jobs. On requesting to a placement officer, he tells of getting a job on our own, and that placement is a complimentary service to the course. If students get a company...

Recommended if looking for a comfortable yet disciplined campus life with professors quite new.

Placements: The commers section were placed in quite reputed companies including ones like Deloit. However, the overall placement rate was not much impressive, considering it was the first batch. Pretty many GOT internship especially from mass com dept. Pretty many were encouraged for further studies and were even hired as professors.

I am satisfied with the good networking opportunities and organisations at our college.

Placements: In our college, around 45-50% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like Deloitte, Khadims, Reliance, etc., visit our campus. The top role offered is customer relationship management. The salary package offered is 3 LPA.
