Absolutely satisfied because of good faculty, events, infrastructure, facilities and exposure.
Placements: Product engineer, designer, merchandiser etc are the roles offered. Ikea, Samsung, orient, Philips, oracle etc are the major recruiters. The highest package was 20,00,000 and the lowest package was of 6,00,000. But it totally depends on the students and his or her effort during the period of course and interview.
Infrastructure: Everything is of really great quality from medical facilities to edibles in the canteen. Regular sports events are taken place which helps in maintaining our health and peace of mind as well. Support is always provided by the faculty and admin to do something new without any hesitation.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful, supportive and knowledgeable. Regular factory visits are organized and guest lecturers provide great exposure of industry to the students.
Other: Connectivity is really easy, reachable. Coming to the campus crowd and the fest and events are really interesting and a great platform to show talent.

Students also asked

Q:   Is State University of Performing and Visual Arts a good college?

A:

It is one of the finest institutions in terms of infrastructural building, but the administration is up for consideration. It does not provide job placement, but instead caters to equipping students with skill sets required for independent dealing in the job market. The college encourages use of such facilities as an voluminous library, film screenings and practical project launches. Infrastructure The infrastructure is excellent, but not particularly strong on maintenance and utility issues including lack of Wi-Fi at many places and no hostel for boys in the campus. Strong sports infrastructure is available: two table tennis courts but average food and poor medical facilities.

The faculty is not very effective and is perceived differently; while the direction, editing, and the audiography department is sound and of high standard, the cinematography departments are highly dependent on the single teacher and does not meet up the expectation. In addition, guest faculty benefits the student when it comes to workshops. The relevance of the curriculum to the industry is mainly practical in the form of exams through a film project, but not so structured as a syllabus. One thing I have always loved about light, color, and the dramaturgic qualities of visual storytelling is cinematography. Tuition fees are very low, while the beautiful colors of the campus, besides all the creativity, stimulates minds and enriched conversations, making for an exciting learning experience.
