SRTMUN offer seats to candidates based on national/ state-level entrance exam or merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants are first required to register for the course of their choice via online mode. SRTMUN shortlists candidates based on state-level entrance exams such as MAH B.Ed CET, MAH MBA CET, MHT CET, etc. for admission to specific courses.

There is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate for SC/ ST/ VJ/ NT/ OBC. The selection for PhD is based on entrance test conducted by the university.
