Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Admission Dates & Eligibility

SUAS Indore offers integrated BTech + MBA programme for a duration of five years. Candidates who have passed Class 12 examination with at least 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for reserved category candidates) with Physics and Mathematics and one of the following subjects as mandatory subjects:

Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Information Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship or,  three-year Diploma examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) can apply SUAS Indore BTech programme.

On cancelling admission, students get some part of the fee refunded depending on when they cancel their admission. Below is the refund policy:

Point of time when student applies for withdrawal/ cancellation of admission	Refund Amount
Up to 31 Aug, 2024	After deducting INR 1,000 towards processing and educational fees, the balance paid fee will be refunded
Sep 1 to Sep 30, 2024	After deducting INR 2,500 towards processing and educational fees, the balance paid fee will be refunded
Oct 1 to Oct 31, 2024	After deducting INR 5,000 towards processing and educational fees, the balance paid fee will be refunded
After Oct 31, 2024 cancellation of admission for any reason whatsoever it may be	No Refund

Note: The date is tentative and will change every year depending on the admission cycle.

In case of a tie for SUAS Indore BTech admission, the relative merit of the candidates will be resolve based on the following:

• Higher marks or score in Mathematics at JEE or equivalent examination
• Higher marks or score in Physics at JEE or equivalent examination
• Higher marks or score in Chemistry at JEE or equivalent examination
• A higher percentage of marks in Mathematics at Class 12 or equivalent examination
• A higher percentage of marks in aggregate at Class 12 or equivalent examination

Lateral entry to second year

• Higher percentage of marks in SSC
• Higher percentage of marks in Mathematics at SSC
• Higher percentage of marks in Science at SSC
• Higher percentage of marks in English at SSC

SUAS Indore admission to BTech course is based on JEE Main or CUET or SET or any other Engineering entrance exam score. Admission to BTech lateral entry will be based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The final selection to BTech will be based on entrance exam score and academic qualification of the candidates. After completion of the selection rounds, a merit list is released based on the performance of the candidates. 

The total tuition fees of BTech ranges between INR 10.10 lakh and INR 10.40 lakh as per an unofficial source. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates will also require to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. The application fee for BTech is INR 1,000.

NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. Candidates can check JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 and 2 on this page.  JEE Main 2024 application form session 1 was available from November 1 to December 4. For session 2, NTA released application form on February 2.

Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences is approved by UGC while IPS Academy is graded "B" by NAAC and approved by AICTE. Symbiosis is rated 4.4 out of 5 in 6 reviews and IPS Academy is rated 4.1 out of 5 in 32 reviews. 

Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences offers only 2 courses for MBA while IPS Academy offers 7 courses for MBA. The fee for the MBA course at Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences is INR 6.25 Lakhs for the whole course, while the fee for an MBA at IPS Academy is INR 2.30 Lakhs for the whole course. 

However, taking into consideration the amenities and placements Symbiosis is rated better than IPS Academy.
