SUAS Indore admission to BTech course is based on JEE Main or CUET or SET or any other Engineering entrance exam score. Admission to BTech lateral entry will be based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The final selection to BTech will be based on entrance exam score and academic qualification of the candidates. After completion of the selection rounds, a merit list is released based on the performance of the candidates. 

Yes, the university provides lateral entry or direct admission to the second year of BTech course. Lateral entry is available in three specialisations, namely Computer Science & IT and Mechatronics. A pass in Class 12 with any three of the followed subjects: Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship with at least 45% aggregate in specified subjects (40% aggregate for reserved category) in the subjects taken together is required to apply for the BTech course. Aspirants who have passed Diploma with a minimum duration of three years with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted can also apply.
