Techno India University is a brand.

Placements: The placement cell is cooperative. You have to get placed on your merits. They arrange campus selection also and off-campus too. There is the only problem that core branch don't get such type of placements, but computer science students got placed. Let's see and hope for the best.

Good college regarding the studies, but not good in placement of the core branches.

Placements: There is no proper core branch placement in this college. If placed, the salary you will get is Rs. 15,000 per month in the companies like Pragya automation, Nagarjuna construction company, etc. The only mass placement is in the IT companies like TCS and CTS with the salary near about 3.18 lacs annually.

Techno India University, the first private university in West Bengal.

Placements: As a private engineering college, its placement is quite good. The companies visit here are more than sufficient. The average package is 3 lpa. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Microsoft, Intel, L&T, Ramco Cement and many more visit during placement season. The placement cell is very helpful and understanding. We hope, in future, many more companies will come to select more students.

The best four years of my life.

Placements: The placements are not good as expected, but still, there is hope for students. The management tries hard to do justice to students and also the companies that are coming. Already half of the students got placed. I think they can satisfy the students.

Techno India University, Salt Lake City, Kolkata.

Placements: The placement scenario seems to be stable. There is scope for entrepreneurship establishment as well. Overall, the placement procedure is convincing. There's a pool of opportunities, but it depends on the student how he/she deals with it. Feels good to be a part of the institution.

Satisfied with the facilities, location, and co-operation. Authority should work on lab and library.

Placements: According to the report of last year, the placement was not very good, and it was only factor satisfactory for the toppers. According to the records of this year, the college has conducted many placements in the campus, and few of the most popular placements are Indian Navy, directly, Bentley, and so on. The main objection of the students is unlike last year the companies are coming, but they are taking a very few students, which is approximately around 30%-45% in the highest assumption. But on ...

OveralI, I will give 3 stars for the college.

Placements: Some streams get good placements but not for everyone. Many big companies come in the placement day like Amazon, IBM etc. Among my seniors someone had got a job on Amazon one year back. B.Tech students also get placements well. We haven't got placement till now hope to get it soon.

I am dissatisfied because of lack of the faculty members.

Placements: The placement is good for CSE and ECE. In this year, more than 50 students are placed. The highest package was 14 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. MNC companies and Pan India visited the campus. More than 20% of the students got an internship through this college. Here, there is also a placement cell.

Good placements, infrastructure, and faculty

Placements: The placements are promising for the cream students. But mediocre students will fail to get jobs in good companies. TCS is out of the picture as the college is quite new. Many MNCs like IBM, Adobe, Uber, Amazon, etc. come for campusing, but take only a handful of students.

The college has a bad placements, good curriculum and faculties, good classrooms, but bad labs.

Placements: To be honest, the placements for the senior batch was horrible. Being a good student I can say that the college is not bringing any good companies and whatever they are bringing is taking hardly 10 students from the whole college. As of now, hardly 12% of the students got placed. Some of them have also been placed in the fake companies of the mechanical batch. Also, fake company may also come as a mass recruiter.

The faculty of the college are good.

Placements: No batches have yet passed out from this institution. Hope we get great placements. In architecture, you have to create your portfolio and present it to different companies. The college suggests you the best companies available. It depends on your capability and hard work.

This is the present situation of our prestigious Techno India University.

Placements: Not much, around 20-30 people from all the stream got the job in total. As we all know the present situation of every engineering college in West Bengal, our university has no difference. All our scores are above 7 GPA. But still, we are not getting any jobs because of lack of campusing. Techno India is using our college as the 'Job hub' for all the colleges under its group thus, making the competition tough.

A good university but needs a good infrastructure and better teachers, leading to better placements

Placements: Placement in any college depends on an individual's capability and a good knowledge of his subject. Techno India University offers a placement package of 3-5 lakhs per annum. Besides, there are students who have received good placements of 8-9 lakhs and 12 lakhs as well. Above that, one can go for off-campus or motivate the hiring company to increase one's package, and again, one's capability would do that surely.

Good faculty but bad management.

Placements: More than 50% students get placed. Companies like TCS, Wipro and Directi visit the campus. The salary ranges from 2.4 LPA to 14 LPA (all though there are exceptions too). Roles offered vary from company to company and the branch of the candidate. The average salary is 3.6 LPA. Overall, the placement scenario is good. The biotech stream is the best that the institute offers. Core branch students have to struggle a bit more than the non-core branch students for placements. ...

Somehow satisfied but placement was not good for core branches.

Placements: Since the last 3 years placements have been average in my college. All the students are facing problems regarding placement. In core branches, only 5-10 students were selected out of 90-120 students. The basic salary offered by the companies is 3.2-3.5 lacs p.a. But for BCA and BBA students, the placement was good.

Good choice for CSE and IT courses.

Placements: Placement for core branches like mechanical, electrical and civil are average or can say below average. Very few core companies visit the campus this year. Although you will get chances to sit in software companies like TCS, IBM, Capgemini and many more. Most of the students from my batch were placed in Byjus, Amazon, Edutech etc for the position of business development executive and customer and seller support. Core companies like Leighton India, Hyundai, TDI Infrastructure hired very few stud...

Placements: The placements were good for my senior batch in 2016. An average of 75% students were placed in reputed companies. The highest package offered was 9 lakhs per annum by Microsoft and the average was 3 lakhs per annum. Companies that visited the university were - TIU-Instakart, IBM, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Videocon, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, Accenture, Fusion Charts, Johnson Controls, CGI, IBS Software, Asahi India Glass, Subex Ltd, Microsoft, Kreeti Technologies Pvt. Placements: The placements went really well for my batch as almost 80% students got placed. Cognizant, IBM, Tech Mahindra etc. are the companies that turned up for placements this year. The highest salary offered was 5.28 lakhs PA and the average salary was around 3.6 lakhs PA. All the students got the internship from the college.

Techno India (salt lake)- B Grade college.

Placements: It provides great job offers to the students of electronics and communication, information technology and computer science departments. It also offer jobs in the core engineering streams like mechanical, civil and electrical departments but not like as in software engineering. Placement in food technology and applied instrumentation is also good.

Techno India University is a private University. The college is very good with well furnished Infrastructure. The faculty members are good and co-operative with the students. Though their is not all pros. The cons about the college is the management system is not good enough. And the college is very good for extra curriculum activities.
