Teri School of Advanced Studies (TSAS) review.

Placements: I was placed for an internship by the college. I worked with a group of very intelligent and dedicated students. The companies that we placed with were very helpful and provided valuable work experience. I learned a lot during my internship, and I think that it will be a great addition to my resume.

Review of Teri School of Advanced Studies.

Placements: About 80% of students get placed on campus. However, about 100% of students get jobs within 5 to 6 months of getting employed. Students become eligible for campus placements after they finish their major project, which is a compulsory on-site experience offered during the 4th semester upon which all twenty-nine credits depend. All top-notch companies like Indian Oil, WWF, RMS, KPMG, TTC, RMS, Aditya Birla Group, Indian Infrastructure, etc., visit our campus for placements.

A fun and practical learning experience.

Placements: One good thing about studying at TERI school of advanced studies besides practical knowledge is their placements. Every year, all the students are placed either in Ph.D. from a reputed institution or are offered a decent package, depending on the requirement of the student. Last semester is dedicated to major project which each and every student has to undertake, wherein they intern under Ph.D. student to gain practical knowledge and technical knowledge.

Our college has qualified faculty members and excellent infrastructure.

Placements: From the 2018 batch, almost 100% of the students got placements. But students of 2019 batch still didn't get placed and are searching for placements because of the COVID-19 situation. So, the placement process is not conducted yet and getting delayed. From our batch, every student got an internship, and many of us are working in government organisations and institutes like WWF, TERI SAS, NIDM, etc.

Great faculty and infrastructure, placements are improving. The college is as good as its students.

Placements: Placements are the first thing any interested student looks forward to while taking admission to colleges. But one should also consider that the area of study in this college is quite a niche and something which corporates, although interested in paper, execute extremely cautiously due to a multitude of reasons, few being lack of knowledge, intent, and extreme and undue focus on financial metrics. Having said that, TERI SAS is a brilliant place if a student is looking to pursue research or work ...

Immensely satisfied with the faculty. They would push your limits and will give you tips.

Placements: Placements are good. Companies come like Zydus etc. Teachers would also recommend you okay. Research labs. They will also guide you on how to give interviews you have separate classes of personality development and how to write research paper. Teachers also recommend you to pursue Ph.D. from abroad as they will help you in doing so.

Good course and teachers, but the placements were not great.

Placements: We did not really have campus placements. During my time, there was not much scope for a corporate placement. Most of my seniors and my classmates got placed in government or non-governmental research organisations like TERI, IIFT, Centre for WTO Studies, Planning Commission etc. A lot of us also went for higher studies. For placement, we had just a couple of more research organisations. The corporate placement scenario may have changed now.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty

Placements: in my batch, it gives the 100% placement to all textile aspirants but the same thing does not occur with computer science aspirants . the highest salary offered was 2.4 lac and min was 1.8 lac. many garments and yarn manufacturing companies visited our campus but not the big one like Arvind, Vardhman, trident etc. they offered the position of a shift in charge or supervisor.

TU is extremely Open University when it comes to student's rights, it enlightens one's knowledge with practical application of theoretical framework. Interactive and fun loving atmosphere. Though, all positive but this college still is unable to bring good companies for placement which is a sad part. But for research and environment related subjects this is the best university.
