Review of University of Engineering and Management.

Placements: In this university, the placement is a bit low, but if you have a good hold on aptitude, then your job is guaranteed. The highest pay is 72 lac per annum, and the lowest is 2.5 lpa, and the recruiting companies are IBM, TCS, Cognizant, etc. I don't know about the information about how many students got internships from my course.

Review of UEM Kolkata.

Placements: The placement record at UEM Kolkata is not very good. Only about 30% of students get placed, and the internship opportunities are not that good. The highest salary package is 78 lakhs, and the lowest is 4.8 lakhs. Some of the companies that come for placements are Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, and Tata Consultancy Services.

Review of UEM Kolkata - University of Engineering and Management.

Placements: This is what made UEM special. The faculty rating is 4 out of 5 because, in Kolkata, there are colleges with an average package of 3 or 3.5 LPA. The college claims 99% placements, but it is 30-70%. In 2024, Jaypee Morgan hired some students with a salary package of 20 LPA. A student got placed at Amazon with a salary package of 48 LPA. When it comes to placement in Kolkata, UEM is the best college.

Life at University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata.

Placements: This year, around 80-90% of students are placed from UEM Kolkata. In terms of placements, this college is very good, so we need not have to worry about that. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, Godrej Infotech, Mindtree, and many others come to recruit students from this college.

My honest review of my college.

Placements: I think around 70% of the current batch students were placed in a well-to-do company. But many couldn't because of the lack of job offers and companies that are not currently looking to employ people. Top recruiters were Cognizant, Infosys, and TCS. All types of roles were offered, both technical and non-technical. For internships, students have to look for them themselves because companies don't visit our college to hire interns.

Review By an avarage student of UEM.

Placements: 20% of students secured placements, with the highest package being 6 lacs per annum, the lowest package at 3.5 lacs per annum, and an average package of 4.5 lacs per annum. The top recruiting company was Accenture. A majority of students did not receive any internship opportunities. The most sought-after role offered in our course was web developer.

Infrastructure and facilities need a lot of improvement.

Placements: In B.Tech CSE course, 98% students were placed in 2022. Reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. visit the college to hire students. The highest package in UEM is 72 lakhs per annum. Students also get jobs outside after completing their course. Faculty members help students to get placement. Overall placement is good.

It is a good curriculum though hectic but good for a student's overall growth.

Placements: Currently, I am pursuing B. Tech in CSIT and belong to the 2023 pass-out batch. Almost 80% of students from UEM get placed but mostly by bulk recruitment where the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA. Only 10% of students manage to get jobs with salary packages of above 8 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and Mindtree are some of the companies which come for recruitment. But there are many students from UEM who manage to grab more than 15 LPA off-campus. The curriculum is good and offers...

There are good placements but you can't enjoy your college life.

Placements: Almost 75% of students are placed in placements drive from this college. The average salary package offered is 4.2 LPA. TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant are the top recruiting companies that visit to hire students. Placements are pretty good in UEM. From our batch of B.Tech CSE 2020, about 70% of the students bagged a minimum of 1 job offer. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.38 LPA. Placements in our college are good.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Every eligible and a hard-working student gets placed. Top recruiting companies are TCS, CTS, Wipro and other service-based companies. The average salary package offered is 4.2 LPA. Almost 60-70% of the students got an internship on their own through Internshala and other similar websites.

It's a moderate college with moderate placement record. If you want to be good it's upon you.

Placements: Some reputed IT companies like CTS, Wipro come for recruitment. A good number of students qualify TCS NQT and got the job offers. Some companies like Byjus, DigiSol, Vedanta etc. Recruit students for sales profile. Some small IT companies also recruited. Students get calls from AMCAT and Cocubes.

Students gain a lot of knowledge from college.

Placements: Placements are still going on in our college, and I don't know the exact details of it. The first batch of our college hasn't passed out yet. Till now, the highest package offered was 9 LPA, and the lowest offered was 1.5 LPA. I don't have much information about the placements. Once it's over, we will get to know the exact details of it.

I'm dissatisfied with the infrastructure, some facilities, sports and games and teaching methods.

Placements: This year was the first time placements were conducted in our college. Around 70-75 students got the job offers. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, etc. have given opportunities to our students to work with them. Overall, till now, placements are average, but as there a lot more companies to come, everyone can get jobs according to their merit. Roles like software engineer, code programmer were offered to students. The highest salary offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest is 1.85 LPA.

Not a good place to join if you want to experience college life.

Placements: I am a fresher who just joined the college a few months back, so I can't elaborate about placements. Also, as the university is pretty new, the final batch is yet to graduate. But as the placements of UEM are going to happen with IEM, I think that the placements could be good. Although, I can't guarantee the same.

Good placements but terribly disappointing faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements at UEM are better compared to that of other colleges in West Bengal. The packages offered so far range from 3.50 to 8.50 lacs per annum. Companies like Wipro have visited the campus for placements. A huge number of students got placed from our university. The college doesn't help us in getting quality internships as they do not promote internships. They do not give us NOC if we get an internship during the semester.
