B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2022

Decent private college with awesome campus life.
Placements: At my time (2022), 40 to 50 percent of students weren't placed. The students who got placed got only a 4-6 LPA package. Average companies like TCS, Capgemini I remember, and yes, a downfall company Byju's also came. The highest package was 8 LPA. The top role was associate software developer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was really good. Gym and cafeterias were available, which were open 24/7. The library was well-equipped with all the books needed during the course. There was a problem with Wi-Fi. The net was slow and sometimes it didn't work. In the hospital, doctors weren't available all the time.
Faculty: Faculty was quite knowledgeable. Some Nayak (Database) and Dypta Mukherjee (DAA) were the best among the faculty members who helped me a lot during the course. The course curriculum does make us industry-ready but not enough to fetch big roles in big companies.
Other: CSE was in trend. I didn't get a good JEE rank, hence I had to choose a decent private college. I passed the IEM exam and got admission to this college. I think the 75 percent attendance policy should be worked on. Events, fests, and campus life were really good.

BCA in Cloud Computing - Batch of 2027
4.4

This college provides very good faculty members.
Placements: I do not have a batch or course because I am an AI developer by OpenAI and not a real student. Percentage of students successfully placed through campus recruitment. Salary statistics categories by highest, lowest, and average packages. Top recruiting companies regularly hire graduates from this course. Percentage of students who secured internships. Companies also offer internships to students. Top roles offered are common job profiles like software engineer, data analyst, consultant, etc. If we know which course or institution we are asking about, then we can help provide tailored information or suggest where we might find it.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious and well-lit. It is equipped with smart boards, projectors, and comfortable seating. Laboratories have specialized labs with modern equipment relevant to the course, such as computer labs, mechanical workshops, or chemistry labs. Wi-Fi has high-speed campus-wide internet access for students and staff. A well-stocked library is available with physical and digital resources, study areas, and subscriptions to academic journals. Seminar halls are air-conditioned for lectures, workshops, and guest sessions. Common areas have study lounges or department-specific recreation areas. Hostel facilities are clean and well-maintained rooms (single, double, or dormitory). Basic furniture like beds, tables, and cupboards are available. Food in mess and canteen are balanced, hygienic meals with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. It has variety of rotation menus, occasional special meals, and access to snacks at canteens. Medical facilities are available on campus. It also has a health center with doctors and nurses. Ambulance services are available for emergencies. Sports and recreation are also available.
Faculty: As an AI, I do not have direct experience with teachers, curriculum, or exams. However, I can provide a framework for the evaluation. Teachers should be approachable, ready to assist students with doubts, and provide mentorship. Professors with advanced degrees (like PhDs) and industry experience are preferred. They should know subject expertise and stay updated with current industry trends. Teachers should use interactive tools like presentations, case studies, and practical applications to enhance understanding. Consistent positive feedback from students often indicates good teaching quality. The curriculum should include updated topics in the field, ensuring alignment with industry needs. They emphasis on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills like coding, research, problem-solving, or hands-on lab work. They provide opportunities for internships and real-world projects to gain industry exposure. Availability of elective subjects and certifications that align with emerging technologies or trends. Semester exams vary widely across institutions. Exams should test both fundamental understanding and practical application. Evaluation standards should be transparent grading and emphasis on conceptual clarity. A high pass percentage may indicate accessible learning but could also signal low difficulty levels. Conversely, low pass percentage might reflect rigorous standards. If we are interested in a specific institution or course, we can help gather tailored information or guide on where to find it. Let me know.
Other: BCA course is very useful and very good. It is a different course.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2025

UEM, Jaipur - Good for affordability.
Placements: The college claims 100% placements; however, quality matters. The packages are very low, with only small startup companies visiting for drives. The average package offered in my course is 500000. For management courses, mostly sales and marketing roles are offered. However, various internship opportunities are available.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, including the canteens. Labs and libraries are available. However, the classrooms are not very spacious. The facilities are not updated and are still traditional. The hostel rooms are spacious and the food quality is okay. Canteens provide good food. A hospital is available on the campus.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful and highly qualified, with doctorates. They teach well and are always available for doubt-clearing. The course that I'm doing is okay if you later want to do an MBA or are preparing for other exams. The semester exams are not very difficult.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in this field. The course curriculum is good, but there is very little practical knowledge. The college hosts various events and fests throughout the year. Daily-need shops are available around the campus.

I wouldn't say that I'm absolutely dissatisfied, but yes, I'm happy with this college.
Placements: As per this year, 1 student got 7 job offers, 2 students got 3 job offers, and many others got many other offers. In case of placement, our college brings many sales companies, but I think we can get better opportunities like TCS, Wipro, Infosys. The main reason behind it is our area is a bit village-type, so recruiters don't visit often.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are overall good, including mess food, which is quite tasty and clean. They provide good connection like Wi-Fi in hostel floors and academic buildings too. We have got canteen facilities as well. The day scholars of our college can have their lunch in the canteen.
Faculty: The faculty members are available 24/7. The best thing about this college is the library; the infrastructure is too good. And yes, many teachers are very knowledgeable and qualified with a Ph.D. degree, but on the other hand, many are not. The semester exams are quite tough because these days our exam papers come from IIT.
Other: I've chosen this course because of my interest in technical courses. I'm a student of B.Tech core. We have got labs and other facilities, and overall it is good. Sometimes the teacher fails in completing the syllabus that is in our exam; this is the only thing not acceptable. Other than that, it's good. We also get many international seminars, tech fests, freshers, etc.

Uem Jaipur-my journey till now.
Placements: Roles like tech and non-tech are available on campus. Some companies conduct 3-4 rounds of interviews for tech profiles, which also include coding rounds. Many students opt for studies abroad after passing out. The average package is 5 LPA, with the top being 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. I really like my hostel; the rooms are spacious, with privacy for both 2-seater and 3-seater options. It is indeed one of the best hostels. Also, individual fans are provided for all. There are good labs with all facilities available, and Wi-Fi is also accessible.
Faculty: When you are enrolled, a mentor is assigned to you. You can ask them your queries. There is 1 mentor for every 8-10 students. You can share your concerns with them. Many teachers stay on campus, which helps you to communicate with them easily. Semester exams are manageable; study well before the exams.

This college is not worth it to join.
Placements: Placement scenario is very poor, only 1-2 tech companies give actual joining after selecting. Major companies are from sales, many of the placements are off-campus, which are shared by the college. The average package is 3 LPA, that too in sales, so not recommended.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is okay, initially that was also very poor, now at least good to some extent. Only the best place is the library where you can go to study, and it's open 24 by 7. You can also get good internet in the library. Mess food is not that good, they make food too spicy, and after complaining to higher authority, only 1 day, normal food is given.
Faculty: Majority of good teachers are leaving the college because of not getting enough opportunities here. Only a few good teachers are left here. Course curriculum is based on the government exams, not for placement exams. Also, semester exams are not that difficult, can be cleared in 1 week.
