The college is good in terms of the culture and the crowd.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are really good. They are mostly based out of Delhi and other parts of the country. The course curriculum is also very relevant to that of the industry, and the students get industry-ready by the end of the 1st year.

My title of the review will be “How’s my GCET.”

Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams for my course – I would rate it 10/10 because I am in the 5th semester now but haven’t had any problems to date. The exams are difficult for all the students because we are under Jammu University, but clearing the exams is not a big deal.

I am not satisfied because of the poor infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified but not very helpful. They are knowledgeable but don't take teaching very seriously. The courses provided don't help students in their professional careers. Exams are not conducted on time, and the time management for the semester is also not good.

Quite dissatisfied with the placements till now, but the infrastructure and facilities are good.

Faculty: The faculty of the Business School is qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the quality of teaching is also great if only a person is interested in it. There are various subjects in the course to be studied. While the semesters are not too difficult nor easy, if you have studied well, you will manage.

Absolutely an amazing college.

Faculty: The staff of the college is very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. They left no stone unturned in making the students the best out of their efforts; a large number of extracurriculars are also held in the college on a weekly or monthly basis.

Talking about placements, the college is satisfactory but the infrastructure needs to be updated.

Faculty: Our faculty members are satisfactory. They always help students. They are qualified enough to get students a degree. The college follows the new CBME issued by the NMC. It is affiliated with University of Jammu, so they conduct exams yearly basis.

Truly satisfied and worth the money and hassle.

Faculty: This is one of the amazing parts of our college. The teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, because even if our college compromises in extracurricular activities, it would never restrain in terms of academics. It is the No. 1 priority for them. The teaching quality and the capability of teachers to hold and withstand with students poor in academics are truly remarkable. The course curriculum is 90% relevant to what is required in the industry. Well, the college is directly affiliated wit...

It is a nice college if you are looking for subject matter and a degree only.

Faculty: Students pursuing their PhDs were teaching us; some of them were dedicated to their work, while others treated it just as a task and did not take teaching seriously. I don't think the subject matter was relevant or up to the mark, as when I started studying for the NET English exam, there were no topics I learned in my MA.

Perks of a university life.

Faculty: At the end of every semester, exams are held. Out of 5 subjects, 4 are 100 marks, and one subject is 80+20, that is theory and practical, respectively. Teachers are cooperative and helping. They discuss everything with students. They take care of each student.

This college will not provide great career opportunities; you have to do it on your own.

Faculty: Most of the faculty are contractual, so after every session, we face issues and a lot of time is wasted because teachers are not available. Many subjects that are irrelevant to our course are included in the syllabus. The semester exams are tough compared to the teaching provided.

A brief overview of GCET Jammu.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and kind to the students. They have a great knowledge of their subjects. The syllabus was designed by the University of Jammu, and our college follows it. The semester exams are set by the university and are of average difficulty. However, the checking is very poor, so only 20% of the students pass.

Overview of GCET Jammu, JK.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and assist in clearing all doubts. They are well-qualified and possess an enormous amount of knowledge about their respective subjects. The teaching quality is wonderful, and you can ask your doubts openly and freely during class. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, covering subjects like DSA, Network Security, and Computer Networks. The semester exams are not that difficult if you have gone through the concepts well and solved previous year's questions. Unfortu...

Happy with my experience .

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful. Expect some of them as they think they are very egoistic, but they don't know anything. They just show ego and are based towards some students for their personal interests. Curriculum is relevant, pass percentage is 35%, and exams are easy to crack for students who attend lectures daily.

It’s a good college, but not excellent. Placements should be increased in future.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Some of them are very amazing. The course curriculum is relevant, it makes the students industry ready. Some subjects difficulty level is high. The passing percentage is 40%. I love my final years’ teachers because they are helpful and knowledgeable.

University of Jammu - a complete review.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, helpful, easy to approach and highly pathetic towards students. They will help students in every way. The course curriculum is very good and imparts all the knowledge to be a good advocate. Exams are of normal difficulty and we need 33% of marks to pass.
