Good infrastructure and faculty, but placement is not good.

Placements: Our senior batch got only one placement in Yes Bank and he was offered 30,000 per month. This year, no placement interviews have been conducted so far. I think the placement here is worst and I have no hope that any of our batchmates would get placed.

I am satisfied with the university and would love to suggest this to many students.

Placements: No placement drives are conducted. It's really bad that a state university can't conduct a drive. Most of the students go for career options that are not actually related to our MSc subjects. The students are supposed to go for coachings for either NET or other civil exams.

Best university but not that great.

Placements: If you're thinking of campus placements, then don't consider Jammu University because there are no campus placements in Jammu University. After completing a degree from the university, you can opt for offline placements by checking company websites for the placements.

The college needs to introduce activities for students in their field of interest and should connect students with other colleges. Students should be brought out of their comfort zone. Reading just the text books won't do anything good to the students. Faculty must put their efforts to organize activities, which would boost up their confidence.

One of the best places to study MBA, PGDBM etc., if you want to be in Jammu and enjoy the life. Placements are average in the campus. Crowd is average and same is about the campus life. You'll have to run here and there if you want to avail any campus facility. The faculty is average i.e. some are good some are normal and some are irritating.

GCET JAMMU College review.

Placements: There is no placement in this college. The placement cell is dead in this college no job is offered on this campus after 2021. Before that, there were government jobs and IT jobs on campus. There are many opportunities off-campus, but that would be really up to you and your abilities.

Satisfied, but i feel there is a room for inprovement. Like placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Only 20 percenof the students were placed from the whole batch. Highest package was around 11LPA. Vidanta resources was one the hiring company. Least number of students got internship from our batch, i guess around 10 students only. There wasn't any such top role offered.

The life of Gceten engineers.

Placements: 60 percent students were placed in our course. 50000 is the lowest package offered and 100000 is the highest package offered in our course. 40 per cent students get internship in IT companies and 10 per cent students gets placements in various companies.

It is a good institute with some compromises.

Placements: The placement opportunities provided here are good. If you have the skillset and do hard work, you could bag a salary package of around 3 LPA-4 LPA. Most of the recruiters here are small companies. However, a few students are provided with opportunities in leading companies such as TCS, Wipro, etc.

It is a good college, but there is a lack of teachers and development.

Placements: We are quite unaware of placements because we had not been visited the college for above a year. We are in the 3rd semester, so we don't know anything about the placements, salary packages, companies, etc.

Absolutely satisfied with all the facilities available in my college.

Placements: 50 to 60% of students were placed in this course. Companies related to scientific fields visit the college for recruitment. 70%+ of students got internship from this course. Placements are overall good.

Satisfied only because of the supportive faculty.

Placements: The placement drive for our course was not that much great. The approach to the companies was mostly through udaan. The packages provided by the companyies were very low. Most of the students went to the companies just for the internship. But didn't settled there for any job.

Review of Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Approximately 20 students from all the branches were placed. The highest package offered was 3 LPA. Only 2 companies came for campus placements. One company was Translab, and another was a Lucknow-based company. The placements in our college are not good.

Our college doesn't provide placements and practical experience.

Placements: There were no placements in our college, and companies didn't visit here for the last many years. The placement cell doesn't work properly, and hardly they invite any company. Our seniors faced the same problem and same for the juniors also.

I am not very much satisfied with this university.

Placements: As it is a government college, so it does not provide placements. You have to get your job by yourself. Senior students got selected for KAS. Every year about 40% of the students get government jobs. Every field gets a different salary. About 20% of the student from our course get an internship.

Faculty members and infrastructure are good, but there is a lack of placement drive.

Placements: Placements in our college, especially in Jammu and Kashmir, are worse. However, our college is better than other colleges which fall under Jammu University. Only a few students get placed from this institute. It's not the only fault of our college, but also of students who don't have an interest in the private sector. The salary package offered by the company is also very less, and companies which take placement drives will focus on NITs and IITs students.
