University of Jammu Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: I'm currently in the course and no placements have taken place. Internships were provided to only 5 -7 children everybody else is doing it from their own sources. The top roles offered are for sales executive. I have not seen any other placement or internship come other than sales. No scope for finance or HR students.

Placements: Around 20% of the students from our batch got placed until now. Here you can't expect high salary packages, and mostly, our college offered walk-in interviews. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Many companies visit here for placements, but they aren't MNCs. Only a few students from our course got placed.

Placements: Recently many decent companies have stared coming and recruiting students such as HDFC. In the current year, 2020 ITC came and offered summer training to students which is a big organisation. Though the placement rate is average and some students don't get placed.

Placements: The placements in the business school, university of Jammu is decent and generic. The previous batches have got placed in good companies with handsome packages. The placements are not best as compared to IIMs and top B school but nevertheless the university provides good opportunities in terms of Internship and workshop exposure too.

Placements: The business school of the University of Jammu is among the top institutions in India. It has almost 90% placement. Many top companies like ITC, ICICI, HDFC etc. hire from here. The avg package is about 4 Lacs. Regular workshops and guest lectures help the students to get a practical knowledge.

Placements: 1. The placement percentage is around 80%. 2. The highest package is 12 Lacs and the lowest is 4.5 Lacs. 3. Students have been selected for internships at multiple companies all over India including companies like Jaro, PepsiCo, Axis bank, ICICI bank etc. 4. Top roles offered in our course include HR managers, Financial experts, Marketing executives etc.

Placements: I am from 2018 batch, and it was a great experience here. Our college provides placements in good reputed companies. Many companies visit our college to hire students. Our college also provides an internship.

Placements: I am from a mechanical course. Around 15-20% of the students from our course got placement. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.1 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Ceasefire, Mahindra Finance and ICICI Bank visit our campus for placements. All the students did an internship in companies like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki and Hydroelectric Power Stations.

Placements: Nearly 5-10% of the students are placed in our course. The highest of 4.5 Lacs, the lowest of 2.5 Lacs, and average of 3.5 Lacs package is offered. Top recruiting companies include hdfc bank, icici bank, icici prudential, etc. Less than 2-3 % students got internship opportunities in hdfc bank, icici bank, etc. Top roles offered are of project manager, assistant manager.

Placements: Above 90% of the students were placed during this course. The salary package offered by corporate companies are starting from 3.5 LPA, and it goes up to 10 LPA. There are different kinds of companies which visit the campus for recruitment of professionals, and students also got pre-placement offers during their internship from the companies. Every student needs to do an internship during this course and have to submit their learning after the internship.

Placements: Only a few students got placed from our batch because only some companies came for recruitment in our university. Students searched for jobs in companies on their own outside the state because there is no scope of MCA in our state. Companies should approach in our state.

Placements: As it is a government college so the seats are less and limited. Total 300 seats are available in all the streams. Who so ever clears the exam gets a seat here. The package offered here are very good and the value of the package is high. Only the deserving students get internship crossing the percentage of 80 per cent.

Placements: Placements of mechanical is less and when it comes to packages they are also low. But our training and placements cell committee is really making efforts to get us well placed in terms of quality of job and packages. Last year a company arrived and took students of mechanical too in design Field.

Placements: The placements are not that awesome in this university as it is a government University. Only 10-15% companies of North India are coming over there. But still, I consider it as a good University overall as it provides different courses within the campus.

Placements: Only 30% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course was 5.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.2 LPA. 3 Top recruiting companies for our course are Manhattan Associates, Itenic Solutions, etc. The top role offered in our course is a cloud engineer. Almost 100% of the students got internships from our course.

Placements: Placement opportunities in our college are amazing. I got placed at TCS and Cognizant with the help of our college. Companies which reviewed our college included TCS, Cognizant, NIIT, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Cogitate solutions, Lido Learning, Jaro Education, PlanetSpark and more.

Placements: 65% percent of students were placed in the Computer Science course. The highest package offered is 20lacs per annum, the lowest package is 3 lacs per annum and average package is 5 lacs per annum. Top recruiting company is Byju's. Top role offered is a technical role.

Placements: Our college provides good placements opportunities, and also many companies visit our college for placements and provide opportunities. Staff members of placements are very supportive in every aspect. They always guide us properly in every aspect during the placement session.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Around 70% of students are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. The average package is around 4 LPA. If the student has knowledge and capability, he/she will definitely get placed in a good organisation.

Top companies like Jaro, Tech Mahindra, NIIT, Capgemini, and Wipro visit our campus for recruitment. Software developers and BDO officers are the roles offered in our courses. The college provides good opportunities.
