Allrounder University for higher studies.
Placements: I am a BCA final year student with a batch strength of 140. About 10-20% of students get placed from a batch in the first half of the placement season. Top companies are Wipro, Cisco, HCL Tech, Planetspark, TCS, and many more. Due to the recession, very few companies came this year. Some students got internships in companies like Microsoft, Tata, Zomato, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college can be given 4/5 points. Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are big; multipurpose halls are available; there is a nice and big ground for sports and games; and the new infrastructure includes lift facilities and air conditioning in the halls. The quality of hostels is also nice and up to standard. The mess and canteen are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in the new campus of LU, but in the old campus, nobody is happy to do their work, especially in the Science faculty. Here, the professors are highly educated and very good at teaching. They are also very helpful and assist and motivate students whenever possible. The semester exams are also difficult here, but anyone who has attended classes can easily pass the semester without backlogs.
Other: I chose the university as I had to study in Lucknow and pursue a technical course along with my online degree. Thus, it suited me well to study both of them without getting frustrated. The course structure is changing from the past year, and it should inculcate modern concepts of technology for the benefit of the students.

My university of Lucknow .
Placements: Placements are held on campus very frequently, and students get placed in renowned companies. Also, there are workshops related to how to boost confidence and easily get placement in bigger companies. From an internship point of view, the university only makes sure that each and every student gets an internship.
Infrastructure: The libraries on campus are very well developed and enriched with good books. The facility for Wi-Fi is there in the department. The labs are highly maintained, and good-quality materials are available. Smart classes are there in the classroom. Canteen foods are awesome and prepared with full hygiene.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and highly educated. They have a lot of knowledge about their discipline. They not only provide guidance on the subject but also on personal issues. Yes, courses make students industry-ready. Also, from the university side, many students go to industry for internships and jobs.

Good place but placements are not direct from college.
Placements: We students of microbiology are fewer as compared to other courses because there are only 37 seats in the college. The lowest package is 1 lakh per annum and the highest is 6 lakh per annum. Pharma, food, and beverage companies hire students. Internship is compulsory for microbiology students, which is done in both private and government institutes. Microbiologist is the top role.
Infrastructure: The college provides us a separate classroom with a separate lab. There are two libraries for the Master's students. The first one is only for M.Sc. Botany students in its own department, and the other one is a common library for all, with AC, fans, and Wi-Fi. Our hostel is quite okay, having a reading room, sports room with all apparatus, and medical facilities provided whenever needed.
Faculty: Teaching quality is okay; you have to put your own efforts for good marks. This course is quite good, but in our college, they don't provide us with good practical knowledge. Semester exams are a little bit difficult, but you can score well if you study hard. Some teachers are cooperative, some are egoistic, and some come just to see your faces. Course curriculum activities are nil. Students gain more theoretical knowledge than practical knowledge, so you have to focus on yourself.
Other: The best thing about my course is that if you choose this course, you will not be an unemployed person. I wish practical classes were more than theory classes.

Good education which is absolutely worth it.
Placements: You will get hardly placed but last year there were 5 students who got placed with packages of 5–9 lacs per annum. The placements are increasing year over year. Some got selected for Indian Statistical Services, some work as data analysts, and many more.
Infrastructure: The faculty in the department is very nice and supportive. The teachers are well qualified. I am a hosteler but I must say the canteen food is good and affordable. There are many canteens on the LU campus. There are other extracurricular activities in which one can participate as per interest.
Faculty: All the professors are well qualified and teach so well. The semester exams are medium level and questions were asked more than in previous years. You can ask anything from the teachers, and they will provide you with an with an instant solution to your queries. And the course is very supportive.

First Year of M.Sc. CS but loving it here.
Placements: Placement Cell is there but is not very active. Students have to go to companies on their own. However, HOD Sir has created a placement cell with both teachers and students along with some research fellow. Packages offered is not that great too. Minimum packages are given.
Infrastructure: College has pretty well not the best classrooms. Even in labs however computers have great specifications but we have to carry our own laptops for the practical classes. College computers sometime have viruses. Systems are not well maintained. Department has its own library with many other libraries of University.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated and very professional studied from some of the best colleges in India. They are quite helpful and helps with different study materials, planet educational seminars, webinars. Also brings industry experts for better understanding of technological changes.

Great course but needs improvement.
Placements: The college is developing a coordinating placement cell with both students and teachers actively participating in it. Graduated students are mostly engaged in coaching or involved in government, private jobs, and other reputed companies. The college is in contact with different companies for placement.
Infrastructure: The college has well-furnished classrooms with well-equipped labs. The course, however, needs improvement as per industry standards so that students can get placements in some good and reputed companies. The college also provides spacious hostel rooms with good mess food.
Faculty: Exams are held every semester. Teachers are well-educated and highly trained from various top institutes of India. Teachers are always ready to help. The course has every aspect in terms of industry requirements. It does provide sufficient knowledge and training as per industry standards. Semester exams are moderate to tough.
