Review of NITK surathkal .

Infrastructure: Internet speed is one of the best things you will get here; it’s almost 1000mb/s. I know it’s somehow tough to believe, but it’s true. And what should I say about the infrastructure? It’s the best—marvelous, lush green campus, and it’s really mesmerizing. Hostel facilities are also very good. You will get a very nice and clean room, and there will be everything you need in your room. There will also be a common room.

Average satisfaction because of faculty, placement, internships and good infrastructure.

Infrastructure: Honesty, I wish I could give 0 stars. There are CCTV's everywhere, and the library has course books and novels that are very useful. Other than that, nothing is good about this college. I've been to the lab only in the 1st year; after that, they don't take us to the lab, and practical exposure is very poor. There is NO HOSTEL, and the canteen is affordable, and timings have to be followed. The quality of the food is above average. One very good quality of this college is they help students who n...

The best thing in the college is the faculty and the infrastructure.

Infrastructure: There's no Wi-Fi connection in the college premises. The department is good; they do provide basic necessities. Labs are clean and hygienic. Classrooms look very good. Since the college is very old, it has its own charm. The infrastructure is quite impressive. The canteen is permanently close. Hostel food is not that great. A medical center is available inside the college premises, and they provide good treatment. Sports and games are also highly encouraged here.

Life of an average student at NITK

Infrastructure: For 1st-year students, there is a special building called 'CIDS' where all 1st-year classes are held. For Mining, a special building is situated near the main building, and Wi-Fi is available in all the departments 24/7. Labs are well-structured, and the instruments are of good quality. If we talk about the hostel, there are 4 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels. The food has an average taste, but you can at least survive by eating it. If you are from the North, you may have some problems at firs...

Don't fall for fake marketing.

Infrastructure: Course structure is undoubtedly up-to-date; it teaches you everything you want to know, but there are a few subjects and classes which are useless and forcefully added to your course. These don't have any connection with your corporate life, which sometimes makes the syllabus lengthy and creates unnecessary pressure on students.

This is an overall awesome college.

Infrastructure: State-of-the-art laboratories equipped with modern tools and software. Well-equipped with projectors, audio-visual systems, and comfortable seating. A central library with access to thousands of books, journals, research papers, and e-resources. Sometimes hostel LAN is not working.

College is pretty good; a good amount of companies come for placements and internships.

Infrastructure: Yes, we have decent labs, but the equipment is a little old. We get Wi-Fi facility 24 hours, which is quite fast. There are 2 libraries: central library and e-library. The central library is open till 5:30, while the e-library is open till midnight. You can go and study there. AC facility is also there.

Good college, good faculty, poor facilities and infrastructure, great place to study.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really poor as the college is very old and not well maintained. The toilet facilities are really bad with no water most of the time. Many classrooms have no electricity supply, and some have switches, fans, and lights, but they don’t work.

Placement is good. Overall I am satisfied.

Infrastructure: The hostel quality is good, but the mess food is only average. The other facilities, such as sports and medical, are fine. The night canteen food is good. However, the football ground is in such bad condition that the risk of injury is very high. On the other hand, the indoor games are good. These are just my opinions about what I feel.

The college is run by government you can easily find various facilities.

Infrastructure: Our college has big classrooms with smart boards, a computer lab, an indoor gaming room, a library, a big playground, and a parking facility. However, there is no canteen on campus. But that's not a problem because there are plenty of street food stalls just outside the college. Also, there are stationery shops nearby. And because it's an all-girls college, safety is a top priority both on and off campus.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, and there are good teachers and good placements.

Infrastructure: In our college, the library is very good, with an ambiance for cool study. There are all types of books for each subject and each course. We can take the books on rent for free by using the library ID card and return them within 3 weeks. There are computers as well in the library for digital learning, and Wi-Fi is provided for students and all staff members.
