UMU: A Gateway of Opportunities.
Placements: Our college offers a wide and varied range of placements along with drives, and many big companies like Airtel, ShriRam Finance, and Bada Business groups offer placements starting from 100 LPA. Students get separate placement faculty members to help and guide them.
Infrastructure: UMU provides labs for practical classes and assignments with the latest technology, along with Wi-Fi and table internet connection. UMU also provides a library containing reference books for particular courses. UMU provides spacious and good-quality classrooms.
Faculty: Teachers and non-teaching staff are very helpful and provide guidance and assistance to students and clear their doubts regarding anything. The curriculum is very easy, and students are not burdened with assignments. Exams are at a very basic level. Suitable for all.
Other: UMU offers both bachelor’s and master’s degrees with various courses and also provides hostels, a canteen, and mess facilities. Students who come from outer states can often opt for hostels with bare minimum fees per semester. Meritorious students also get scholarships and loans based on their merit. Students are not required to give any entrance exams and can get admission directly.

About Usha Martin University.
Placements: The college has 62-80% placement for students. The highest package is 12 to 15 Lacs. The top recruiting companies for this course, B.Tech, are Reliance, Bajaj, Hindustan Times, SBI Life, etc. The college has a 60-80% internship placement rate for students. Top roles offered in B.Tech are software developer, web developer, and DevOps.
Infrastructure: All classes have free Wi-Fi access. There are electric slab mechanical labs and a physics lab. All classes are very big and have smart boards in them. The college has a very big and central library that has a vast amount of books, with e-library availability. There is a common cafeteria for all students in the college, which has a large variety of food items.
Faculty: The faculty members in the college for B.Tech CSE have Doctorate degrees and experience. The teaching quality is very good. The college conducts mid-semester and end-semester exams every year. The college also conducts tests and quizzes. The passing percentage for students is 49%.

Good infrastructure, but the placement opportunities are very bad.
Placements: Only 10-15% of students were placed in this college, and the placement cell is very poor. There are no advanced courses available because many teachers lack knowledge. They offer a maximum of two paid internships, typically at internet cafes or coaching centers, and no major companies come here to hire.
Infrastructure: The college has various facilities, but sometimes the hostels run out of water for two to four days, and there are frequent electricity problems. The quality of the mess food is concerning; you might fall ill if you eat it for a month, and there have been instances of insects in the food.
Faculty: The teachers are not well-qualified and lack information, providing very poor instruction. Some teachers are unhelpful, and the head of the B.Tech CSE department is particularly unsupportive. The syllabus for our course is outdated, resembling that of the year 2000.
Other: Additionally, the college is not affiliated with AICTE, and it lacks NAAC and INC accreditation. The degrees offered here are essentially useless. If you don’t want to waste your time and future, please don’t take admission here.

For the MCA course facilities and faculty is good at this college.
Placements: Usha Martin University offers multiple placement opportunities to its MCA course students. The college has a highly active placements cell which tried up with various tech companies for the placements. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc. Average salary package offered is between 3-8 LPA in the MCA course.
Infrastructure: Usha Martin University has a well-maintained and well-developed infrastructure for the MCA course. The college provides Wi-Fi throughout the campus for students and also provides labs, a library, and a canteen. The quality of these facilities is very good. The labs have proper systems for students to do their practical work. The college also provides various types of sports facilities for students.
Faculty: The teachers at Usha Martin University are very helpful and supportive. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is very good. The MCA course provides both theoretical and practical knowledge, and the curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. However, the three exams that are conducted each semester are quite difficult to pass.

Placements: The student placement percentage is about 60% to 80% of students placed on campus. The highest package offered is 11 LPA, the average package offered is 6 LPA and the minimum package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Sadar Hospital and Apollo.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very much provided here, like Wi-Fi is available everywhere, labs are available and well-maintained classrooms are available. The Central Library is present, where all books and journals are. Hostel facilities are very good and rooms and bathrooms are provided. Mess food is also good to eat.
Faculty: The qualifications of our teachers are that they are all Ph.D. holders and well-versed. Faculty members are very good at behavior and knowledge. Thus making the students industry ready to work. There are not too many difficulties in passing the semester exam and we can easily score well.

Placements: Total 70 percent of students are placed this year, with an average package of 5 LPA. Faculty are very supportive in placements. Well-known companies also came this year, like TCS, Byju's, Aditya Birla, etc. I recommend you visit the college to see for yourself.
Infrastructure: The building and hostel are very well maintained. The college has a clean and friendly environment that promotes happiness. The canteen and mess provide great food for students. Medical facilities in case of any accidents are also available through OPDs.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and helpful by nature, providing support in all aspects, not only academically but also in personal life. The library is fully updated with all kinds of academic books, magazines, and newspapers, making it very convenient to study.
Other: I chose this college because it values my time and is also in my hometown. The fests and events conducted at this college are very popular and enjoyable, creating a friendly environment among all students and staff.
