Scholarships are available from VBSPU to applicants from low-income households. They receive scholarships to help with their financial needs and to motivate them to continue their education. VBSPU Jaunpur offers scholarships on the basis of merit which varies from course to course. It also offers relaxation in tuition fees which is also given to position holders of qualifying examinations/ competitive exams and university examinations. VBSPU Jaunpur admissions are primarily entrance-based. While admission to some of the courses is based on the university-conducted entrance exam, namely the VBSPU Jaunpur Combined Admission Test PUCAT admission to the remaining courses is conducted through national-level entrance exams, including JEE Main UPCET etc. Candidates are only admitted to the university after passing the PUCAT test, which is administered yearly. English is the language of the admission test, which is administered offline. For all programmes, PUCAT is in MCQ style. VBS Purvanchal University, the organisation in charge of organising the test, has established the PUCAT test Pattern and Scoring System.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025 registration will commence in the first week of February 2025. NTA will release the CUET 2025 notification. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET registration 2025 process will commence online at cuetug-ac.ntaonline.in. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET 2025 exam must ensure that they fill out the application form online. CUET 2025 registration will end in the first week of April 2025. Further to the last date, candidates will not be able to fill out the CUET application form. No request for extension of CUET registration until the last date will be entertained.

Before filling out the application form, candidates must ensure they fulfil the prescribed CUET eligibility criteria to qualify for the entrance exam. 

CUET result 2025 will be declared tentatively in last week of July 2025. Candidates who will appear for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. The link to download the CUET scorecard will be available at CUET results 2025. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials to view the CUET 2025 scorecard online. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form.
