Library and Information Science Department with rich culture is the best department I've ever seen.

Placements: Success rate is 80%. Packages range from 3 LPA to 12 LPA, which one can secure by giving competitive exams. Different private sectors are also an option. Yes, there are some internships all over the country with their capabilities. 50% of students get internships. Roles include Librarian, Assistant Librarian, Professor, School Librarian, and Rural Librarian.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, central library, reading room, and workshop are all available in this department. The best thing is its anti-ragging cell, which is very active, making it a ragging-free campus. Hostels also have all facilities and advantages.

Faculty: Every faculty member is helpful, cooperative, wise, friendly, and respectful. It's a department with a rich culture. Both theory and practice papers are part of this course syllabus, so they teach us most of the concepts to prepare us for our best future.

Other: It's a professional course. Field surveys are included for better experience.
