The faculty members are good.

Placements: TCS is the major recruiter at our college, and it will take more than 40 members per year. Secondly, Tech Mahindra will take some people, in spite of only technical branch students, they also take the ECE and petroleum engineering, and no other company will take more than 10 people per year.

Vignan institute of Technology and Science - a better institution. ?

Placements: The college has a better number of placements including better companies like Infosys, Amazon, Cognizant, Epam, etc. yet not many related to the core for some branches. Lack of better communication skills is even resulting in refusing the selectors to pick some students with better academic performance. Every year, around 60-70% of the students are placed in our college placements occupancy with a beneficial package. Most of the students placed are in the software development companies. We have ...

The college has good placement.

Placements: Placements are improving year by year. Companies like Infosys, Amazon, Google, EPAM etc. visit for placements. Around 70% of students will be placed in different companies. Maximum salary offered will be around 6.5 LPA, and the minimum salary will be around 2 LPA.

Vignan can be considered as one of the options for doing engineering with good support from faculty.

Placements: Opportunities provided by the college are very good. Many MNC companies visit our college like TCS, IBM, Wipro, Capgemini etc. An average of 3 LPA to 4 LPA will be initial package given by most of the companies. We even have a placement cell to make students well trained. Our seniors, 116 students out of 200 got selected by different companies.

Dissatisfied because of the placements.

Placements: There are no placements for the mechanical engineering department. Also, no core company had arrived for the placements for the mechanical engineering. But, for the other departments like computer science and such, placements were good enough for students. Almost, 30% of the students were placed in the university.

I'll rate 6 out of 10 overall.

Placements: The placements of the college on a scale of 1 to 10, I'll rate 4. The placements depend on the companies requirement. We cant blame the university for that. Anyways, they are trying to bring more and more companies every year for the placements, and it all depends on how you perform. My seniors had more companies than we do and vice versa.

The university is very good with humanity, ethics, culture and tradition.

Placements: The college is trying to give better placements, but they are not reaching up to the mark, and moreover, only IT companies are visiting. There is no preference for other core companies. The college is well spotted for internships, University provides skill development programs, aptitude, and professional English classes for the students.

I was satisfied with infrastructure facilities, faculty and all other things but not placements.

Placements: To be honest, for mechanical guys, during my tenure, we didn't have a single drive. We used to attend TCS Infotech without any knowledge of any IT related topics. You can check the records, only one guy from mechanical is placed in TCS and 3 others in Infotech from 180 students. The salary packages were around 3 Lacs per annum. Almost all the students, based on the criteria, we went for internships. I did my internship at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. There won't be any stipend given. We do have pl...

Elementary school kind of treatment. Situated in good location and is good for a study geek.

Placements: Infosys is the day one company here with a package of Rs. 3.2 LPA. Some core companies for ECE and CSE students like Keeline, Red Pine Signals, Sigma, etc., will be visiting with an average package of Rs. 4 LPA. Most of the students will be placed in the non-technical companies like the Amazon, Genpact with an average salary of Rs. 2.4 LPA. Don't expect internships in this college. But recently, there was Byju's, who visited here for the internship.

The college is good for biotechnology, IT, CSC, ECE, etc.

Placements: The placements for my batch was comparatively good with my seniors, but those placements are mostly like medical coding, call centre jobs, etc. They concentrate on TCS only remaining all are like normal. If you have talent then you can be placed in multiple companies otherwise they will support you for off-campus drives.

Dissatisfied because of faculty. Only few professors are there.

Placements: The placements offered are good. Many of the students were placed. The companies like Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, etc., had visited the university. Last year the percentage of the placed students was 70%. But in this year it is reduced to 65 percentage. The highest package offered is 8 lacs per annum, and the least offered is 1.2 lacs per annum.

Placements: On our campus, there are no placement opportunities regarding the mechanical stream. They are providing for the mechanical people also the software jobs in the software companies. They are offering in the companies like TCS, Genpact, Southerland, etc. but we want in the stream of mechanical engineering.

The campus life is good, where the faculty members are supportive.

Placements: The students from ECE, CSE, IT branches only get above 50% of the placements in the respective branches. The other branches get less percentage, i.e., branch wise in the year 2017. A total of 60-70% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 45,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Really good infrastructure and facilities, but the placements are bad.

Placements: The placements are there. But only startup companies will come, the MNC companies like Infosys, IBM, Wipro rarely visit the campus. The salaries for jobs offered in the companies other than MNC 10,000 per month. The college will not offer an internship. It depends on the student's interest. Out of 60 members in classroom 10 to 15 members maximum will get placements. The mechanical branch is so good.

A university with good standards, high values for learning and innovation.

Placements: The placements are good in our college, even more students got placed than our senior batch. The companies like TCS, HCL, Tech Mahindra, CTS, etc. came to our college. About 60 to 65% of the students got placed in our batch. Thanks to our college. I wish that more companies visit our campus so that many students can have a good start of their career.

I am not satisfied with the placements. Excellent campus environment and lots of learning.

Placements: Our batch has a total of 360 members. Approximately 180 members got placed. Only TCS company itself selected 160 students. And other 20 members were placed in some other BPO companies. The package offered to the students by TCS was 3.1 lakh per annum. The rest 180 members were not placed and opted for higher studies.

Partly satisfied and partly dissatisfied, I'm from the 2016-2018 batch.

Placements: 95% of the seniors got placed in some companies, but only 5% of them were actually working in those companies, that too with the worst package. Many students are still in search of a job, and some have gone to Ameerpet for learning SAP. A lot of companies visited and all of them offered marketing posts. Well, 100% of the students have gone through the internship as a part of the curriculum. The average stipend offered was about Rs. 3000 to Rs. 4000 per 2 months. The highest package offered was 4...

The good faculty, labs and course curriculum. It could be better in the infrastructure and canteen.

Placements: The placements are okay for the core departments. You can't expect a high pay for those core jobs initially. If you need a high salary pay, then you have to get a good GATE rank. The faculty will be helping you in getting a good rank. The placements percentage is 80% approximately, whether it can be a software or in a core department. Overall, the placements are okay.

Review of computer science engineering in Vignan University from a hosteler.

Placements: The placements for computer science engineering is high in the university. Many computer science related companies come for placement. Around 60-80 percent of the eligible students get placed every year in the multinational companies like TCS, IBM, Capgemini, Efftronics, etc. The placement for my senior batch was around 90 out of 120 eligible students, and in my batch, until now, around 60 students got selected out of 130 eligible ones.
