VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Our college provides many placement opportunities. Many companies visit our college to recruit CSE students. Many core companies visit our college to recruit students and offer high salary packages. Our college makes sure that all students get placed.

Placements: Many students are placed in companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. Our college provides both on-campus and off-campus placements.

Placements: Placements used to be good earlier, but now it's not worth it.

Placements: The placements are average. We can't rely on them for placements. We have to put our efforts to get into a company. Generally, bulk 4 companies will come, and the rest are dream and super dream companies. Super dream companies offer a package of above 10 LPA. Dream companies offer above 3.5 LPA. Many people in my batch are still in college and they didn't get into any company. It can be their mistake also, we can't blame the college, but the college should call as many companies as they can for ...

Placements: The college has worst placements ever for civil. Only, 4 to 5 companies come every year, and only top 40 students of civil are allowed to attempt for companies out of hundreds. So, you can study in any colleges in India for less cost.

Placements: We are not getting placements which we need from when I joined. The types of companies which we get are good but we are not well-trained for the placements and the way we are taught here is not good.

Placements: Placements are generally only significant when mass recruiters visit. Other companies usually are disappointed with the quality of students. This is the situation for CSE and IT companies. Mech and civil students don't get placed anyway. Average package is 3 lakh pa for mass IT companies.

Placements: The highest salary package offered was 1 crore per annum, and the average salary package offered was 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. Almost 20-30% of students got internships in companies like Amazon, TCS, etc.

Placements: Only 50% of the students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, the average salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon and SAP. In this college, we have to do internships by paying ourselves.
