A compressive review - VIT campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified with many holding PhDs from reputed institutions. Teaching quality is also very good. They use advanced technologies to focus on theoretical and practical knowledge. Curriculum is also well designed and regularly updated. Exam level is easy to moderate, and 40% is the minimum criteria to pass the exam.

VIT: The Good, The Bad, The Memorable.

Faculty: The curriculum completely depends on your choice and liking, as there is a system called FFCS in which you can select your own faculty and timetable. But the catch is, by the end of 4 years, you must complete at least a credit amount of 162, depending on which course you took. So, an average of 22 credits per semester, and depending on the subject, it will be approximately 2-3 credits, so you have to make a timetable worth 22 credits.

Love-hate relationship with VIT.

Faculty: Teachers are indeed helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is decent. The course curriculum is surprisingly relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty of the semester exams varies from student to student, but for me, it has been easy so far. The pass percentage is 50% overall, and 40/100 marks are required in the final exam.

All You Need to Know About VIT

Faculty: The curriculum is well-centralized on my selected specialization. The end-semester exams are not that difficult; you can easily pass them by studying two weeks before the exams. But getting an S grade is really tough. They also teach practically to make students ready for real-life problems, and there are lab classes and exams too.

Why take VIT Vellore – My experience.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are well-qualified and experienced, but the only problem comes for students like me, who are from North India, as there is a bit of a problem in understanding the accent. Rest assured, all labs and trainers are good and cooperative. You will get to experience new and exciting things, and there is much more for people eager to learn.

Opportunities are there but hard work is needed.

Faculty: Some faculty members are good, and some are not good as well. But studying on your own will help you a lot. The course curriculum is relevant. For you to become an industrial expert, you cannot solely rely on the college curriculum. For that, you need to learn things on your own.

Average college.

Faculty: Teachers are average; many are not enthusiastic about teaching, and most teachers just read from PPTs. The course curriculum is updated and relevant to industry standards. Exams are average; very few people fail, around 5%. Memory is important to do well in these exams; they are not very innovation-based.

Not as bad of a college as reviews make it out to be; a lot depends on you.

Faculty: We have a variety of teachers as we have a flexible system known as FFCS. There are teachers who will just focus on ending the course as soon as they can, and there are some who are very involved in making students learn. This is something we have the freedom to choose. The curriculum is ever-changing and very relevant. Just last semester, they replaced one of our subjects with AWS, which is a leading course in cloud.

Passing the semester is not that difficult. If you start preparing for the exam 2 days before, you can easily crack it. Our university follows relative grading, which means your grade is based on the class average mark.

Mass crowd but it was really worth joining VIT Vellore.

Faculty: The faculty members in VIT are much experienced and helpful for the student and they play a major role in student's life during college days. They are much qualified and worked previously in IITs and NITs for years. Teaching quality is top-notch but the student has to show interest in the subject and teacher. The course curriculum is very relevant to the industry level and makes the students ready in their final years. The exams in VIT are a bit difficult and the question paper is of very high s...

VIT - A land of opportunities, challenges, and fun.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and also the teaching quality is decent. They conduct exams at regular intervals for enhanced retention of the concept. There are guest lectures from industry experts to provide a better understanding. The semester exams can be passed as long as you study whatever is being taught in the class. There are hardly any students who fail.
