BDS | Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and DCI Regulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany and Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 40% instead of 50%. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. However, this has been a subject matter of challenge before the Honble High Court of Delhi, Honble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Honble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. Result awaited candidates can also apply,he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the Undergraduate Medical Courses if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage at the time of first round of Counselling. |
MDS | Candidate must have completed BDS awarded by a University or Institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college. Candidate, who after passing BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GoI/DCI, is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March 2024 can apply, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotatory internship and obtained provisional or permanent registration on or before 31st March 2024 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st March 2024. |
