Placements: I am a current-year student pursuing Political Science (B.A.) at Bidhannagar Government College in Salt Lake, Kolkata. In our department, approximately 75% of students were placed in the last academic year. The highest package offered was around INR 200000 per annum.

Placements: As a B.A. History student at Bidhannagar Government College, the placement scenario is moderate. The average package cost was INR 3.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies include HDFC Bank, ICIC prudential and local historical research organizations. Internships are available but it's better to get a job. After completing this course, you will be qualified to work as an archaeologist, teacher, or tutor.

Placements: Placement in this course depends on the area of interest; almost 60–65% of students are placed. The highest package in this course last year was 5.2 LPA, and the average annual package was 2.2 LPA. All students got internships from our batch. In this course, you will work in clinics, hospitals, Eye clinics, Multinational companies, etc. The roles offered was manager, treating eye illnesses, examining the visual system, etc.

Top companies like Franchise India, Innodata, Alstom, Mahindra, Videocon and Wipro are recruiting. The highest package is 19 LPA, the average package is 7 LPA and the lowest is 4.12 LPA per annum.

Placements: Placement in a statistics course solely depends on the area of your interest. The highest package goes to about 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Internships are available but it's better to get a job because of the low salary. I will apply outside the country to get a part-time job. The roles offered are content development, analysis, etc. The top companies recruiting are in the private sector, like Das writing, Sun knowledge Pvt. Ltd., etc.

The highest package in this course was 5 LPA and the lowest package was 2.5 LPA. Internship facilities are available. working for almost every type of employer and not for profit sectors. The roles offered in this course are systems analyst, cultural affairs analyst, technical writer, etc.

Placements: The college provides UG and PG courses on B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., and similar subjects. So, there is no such thing as placement. But, of course, the teachers will try their level best to train you properly so that you can become successful whichever way you want to go after graduation.

Placements: Our college provides regular courses in graduation, like B.Sc., B.A., etc. That is why there is no placement procedure. However, they put utmost emphasis on providing excellent education that helps the students attract jobs in top companies, sit for competitive exams or go for higher education.

Placements: Placement opportunities are poor in our college but no compromises are made on the part of studies. I have seen most of the seniors in our department get good jobs for their excellent domain knowledge. Others opt for higher studies after graduation.

Placements: Though our college is good in every other area, it does not provide any placement opportunities for the students. It offers mainly regular graduation courses like B.Sc., B.Com., and B.A., along alongside PG courses. As a student, you must find a job for yourself.
