Internship opportunities were availed of by nearly 60% of students, with placements in renowned organizations like the Botanical Research Institute and EcoHarvest Labs.

Placements: As a current B.Sc. In Botany student at Bidhannagar Government College, I find the placement scenario satisfactory. The highest package offered was around 5.6 Lacs per annum, while the lowest was 3.2 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies included GreenAgro Innovation and Bio-Tech Solutions.

The internship package is also low, which is around INR 15k. The students are bound to stay in hostels, and thus the cost is not worth it overall.

Placements: Maximum students get good placements just after 1 year of mandatory internship here in the hospital itself, if not there , then there are multiple nursing homes available for good exposure to patients. Therefore there is no lack of opportunities here. A lot is there to learn in the hospital.

Placements: No recruitment. Nobody gives a damn about this subject. No interview will ask u the size of an Australopithecus foot. Please don't study the course if u need immediate jobs. But this course will help u in various government exams like UPSC PSC, NET etc. And also give u research in universities all around the world.

Placements: There is no placement option. I hope it'll be soon. Statistics will get a job in government ministries, RBI corporations, banks, etc. It's a very hard-core subject with a great future. Take it only if you want a career with a lavish lifestyle. In statistics, you'll get a salary of INR 80k–1lacs easily in the beginning.

Placements: In terms of placements, the college provided reasonable opportunities for students in our batch approximately 60% of the students from my course were successfully placed in various sectors. The highest package offered was around 4 LPA while the lowest hovered around 2.5 LPA the average package stood at approximately 3.5 LPA which was quite decent considering the filled of botany.
