Campus area in Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology
Being a public institute, KNIT, Sultanpur is financially and administratively controlled by the U.P. State Government. All the necessary facilities are provided to the students, such as proper classrooms, seminar halls, and auditoriums, in its well-developed and fully Wi-Fi-equipped infrastructure. Besides this, the college also offers a number of other on-campus facilities to the students, such as a health centre, bank, post office, canteen, guest house, transport facility security, etc.
Libraries
1) The Central Library
The Central Library of KNIT, Sultanpur is a spacious, well-equipped and fully automated library that contains the writings of both Indian and foreign authors. The library has loads of books, and students can issue five free books every semester.
2) Departmental Libraries
Besides the central library, each department has its very own departmental library that includes books and references concerning that department.
Laboratories
All the laboratories of the given departments are equipped with modern equipment.

Computer Labs
The college has an excellent, air-conditioned computer lab along with various types of printers, scanners etc.
Hostels
KNIT, Sultanpur offers adequate accommodation facilities to both boy and girl candidates in its multiple hostels. There are around 850 seats in the boys’ hostel and around 440 seats in the girls’ hostel. Different wardens are appointed for each of the hostel buildings, along with 1 chief warden for boys’ and 1 for girls’ hostels. Each hostel has its own mess.
Health Centre/Dispensary
The college maintains a health centre under the supervision of a full-time Medical Officer to provide primary health facilities to students and staff.
Banks
The college has 2 different branches of banks on campus-
- Punjab National Bank
- Bank of Baroda
Both these banks also have ATM facilities available on the campus itself.
Post Office
KNIT, Sultanpur has an exclusive post office located at the main gate.
Canteen
The institute has one large cafeteria and two canteens on the premises. One canteen, in the hostel, is exclusively for the students, while the other one, located in the academic complex, is for the staff.
Guest House
A guest house is also located on the college premises, providing accommodation for guests at a nominal charge. Bookings are done through the Officer-in-Charge, Guest House.
Transport Facility
Although the hostel is located on the campus itself, the students are provided transportation facilities for local journeys and outstation tours. The institute also has a wellequipped ambulance for emergencies.
Internet Facility
24*7 internet facilities are provided in all academic departments, hostels, library, guest house and in various sections of the institute.
Security
The whole campus area is fully covered by security round the clock. A security officer and around 50 security guards are appointed to look after the campus 24*7.

The highest package of Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology is INR 80 LPA, and the average package is INR 7 to 8 LPA. Bloomberg, Google, Cognizant, Walmart, etc are the companies that visited for placements. Recently, three students got internships at Google and they recently visited the college.
