DU Admissions 2021: Delhi University has announced that it will begin the DU Registration Process 2021 by July 15. DU Admission 2021 will be based on merit this year too, confirmed the pro-vice-chancellor P C Joshi.
However, the DU Admission process for an academic semester 2021-22 will start once the Boards results are announced. According to DU Vice-Chancellor, Delhi University will begin its registration process around July 15 this year, and students from all boards (state & CBSE) will be given equal importance.

Candidates interested in DU Admissions 2021 must note that the varsity will give sufficient time to complete the formalities. The admission process will begin after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announces CBSE Class 12 results. The University will also consider the release of Class 12th results of other state boards.
"So far we've admitted students on a merit basis. This year too, in view of COVID, we will admit students on the basis of marks they receive from boards, be it CBSE or other boards. Delhi University will release merit (list) using those marks.The admission process will begin as and when board results are announced. But contrary to previous years, it (admission) will be delayed this year," adds VC
While talking about CUCET, The VC said that' As per New Education Policy, Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) at the undergraduate level can be implemented by National Testing Agency, but it will depend on COVID situation. In the future, CUCET will be conducted surely.'
Delhi University will not compromise on merit it is confirmed by the VC, However students from all the will be getting equal importance this year. The Admissions process will be delayed and the release date of the merit list will be announced once the Results are out for Board exams 2021.
Earlier, the VC had said, "There will be some way to judge merit. These are extraordinary circumstances. The Central Universities Common Entrance Test can be a good method as it will be based on pan-India merit. DU will not compromise on merit. We will adjust to the new situation and see what method is to be developed. We will wait and see what are the criterion that the boards come out for evaluation of students."
