Amity University, Noida is a private university located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 2005. The university is recognised by UGC and accredited by the NAAC with a grade of A+. Amity University provides undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctoral programmes. It has campuses in India and overseas branches in London, Dubai, Singapore and New York. At the PG level, Amity Noida offers admission to MBA course based on minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates who passed graduation with 50% aggregate in any stream from a recognised board are eligible to apply for this course. There is no specific stream restriction for this course. However, for some specific MBA specialisations candidates are required to get a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 50% or any degree in Mathematics /Statistics/ Science/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Data Science/ Information Technology/ Information Science or an equivalent qualification in relevant discipline. Selection Process
The selection process is conducted at various Amity campuses. The students are informed about the date, time, and venue of the selection process. They can select their selection process date and, as per that, appear for the selection process in person. The selection process depends on the course they have chosen. Generally, it consists of an English test and/or group discussion and/or personal interview.
Personal Interview
The admission process to Amity University is based on performance in the entrance exam conducted. The Personal Interview (PI) and the entrance exam are given equal weightage in the admission process. The personal interview includes questions like "Tell me about yourself," "Why did you choose Amity University over others?"," What are your strengths and weaknesses?"," What are your hobbies?" etc. The candidates are also evaluated on the basis of their entrance exam score, personal interview, and academic performance for admissions. Direct admission
Students with a grade point average of 80% or higher in Class XII (CBSE/ISC/State Boards) are exempted from the selection process.
