The exam cycle usually starts at the beginning of March, with practical training and exams for certain subjects. Annual examinations for undergraduates start on the twenty-fifth of March. The date sheet for the annual examination for all undergraduate degree courses is disclosed anytime between two months before the actual examination. The examination period can last for one and a half months, depending on the seat intakes and subjects selected by the students in that particular academic year. The exam timetable is mostly divided into different time slots and batches, like the morning batch and evening batch. The three-time slots or batches are divided among the students of all three years. Supposedly, if first-year students are appearing for an examination in the morning batch, then second-year students will appear in the afternoon batch and third-year students in the evening batch. However, this may differ according to the orders of Rajasthan University.

Admit cards of the students are uploaded on the official website a few weeks before the examination. The admit card consists of all the details of a student, like roll number, enrollment number, centre name, centre code and all the other information that might be necessary. Lastly, the results for second-year undergraduate students are declared before June 15th, and for other subjects and years, results are uploaded on the website by June 30th.

This is the timeline given officially by the University of Rajasthan. However, for the last three academic years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this schedule has not been completely followed and the examination process has been highly disturbed, with several changes being made, resulting in the delay of the examination process as well as the results.                                                                                              

Exam centres

Unlike the other affiliated colleges of the University of Rajasthan, Maharani College's students do not have to go anywhere else for their final examinations but their college. As it comes as a privilege of being a constituent college, University Maharani College does not only serve as the examination centre for its students but also for students from other affiliated colleges and institutions of the University of Rajasthan. However, as the University of Maharani College is a girls' college, only female students are allotted this college as their examination centre.

Total and Minimum Marks

For most subjects in any Bachelor's degree that a student might be pursuing from Maharani College, Jaipur, the total score for each paper is 100, while the minimum score that a student has to obtain to pass the exam is 36. Although, in the last academic year (2021–22), due to a delay in the semester beginning, the university decided to change the total marks to 50 and the passing marks to 19. To obtain a first division in the exams conducted by the University of Rajasthan, students have to secure 60% marks in total. If a student has only passed the examination with a grade of 36%, no particular division will be awarded to them. For the final results of the third-year students, the college counts a certain percentage of the marks obtained by them in the previous two years, excluding the marks obtained in compulsory subjects.
