Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam encourages students to do diplomas; PG diploma certificates in streams of Yoga, Diploma in Music and Classical Dances (Bharatanatyam & Kuchipudi).

                   

Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam not only focuses on academics but also on extracurricular activities. Students from SPMVV are much interested in participating in extracurricular activities. 

In Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, extracurricular activities include sports, community service, arts, educational arts, hobbies, educational clubs, yoga, aerobics, employment services, dance, athletics, photography, drama, student council, martial arts, internships, entrepreneurship, animation, weaving etc.,

  • Virinchi Fest: Every year School of Engineering and Technology conducts a college fest named Virinchi. The fest includes both technical and non-technical events. Virinchi is a colourful and memorable technocrat fest. This fest goes on for two days. Students from all colleges are allowed to this fest. Flash mob is also conducted as a part of Virinchi every year.
  • Talents Day or Engineers Day: Every year School of Engineering and Technology celebrates Talents Day or Engineers Day on September 15.
  • Women's Day: As this is a Women’s University, Women’s Day is one of the best occasions to celebrate here. SPMVV celebrates women’s day with great enthusiasm.
  • Sports Day: Every year sports day is celebrated by Physical Education Department as a part of SPMVV. All the department students from SPMVV actively participate in this event.
  • Annual Day or College day: SPMVV celebrates an annual day every year. On this occasion, students and staff from all the departments & courses actively participate. Technical and Non-technical events are conducted on this day.

  • Hostel Day: SPMVV provides good hostel facilities to the students. Every year SPMVV celebrates Hostel Day. Especially on this day, delicious food with a variety of dishes is provided to the students by SPMVV Hostel Management. Games and Cultural activities are conducted and followed by prize distribution. Secretaries, Joint-secretaries, Martins, wardens and all the hostel staff participate in this.

Student union elections are conducted once a year by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam. In these elections, students from all the departments and courses of class representatives and assistant class representatives participate and cast their votes and elect their leaders. Elected leaders solve all the issues and problems and help students. Leaders speak and convey on behalf of the students and solve their problems by informing the higher officials.
