Gulbarga University result 2019-20 for all its UG and PG courses is now available on its official website. The University follows a semester examination scheme for all its courses and its academic session is divided into two semesters, (odd & even). The University conducts the semester-end examination in December-January for odd semester and in May-June for even semester. Students must note that semester results announced by the University are provisional and the final results are mentioned in detailed hard copy mark sheet provided individually.

How to check Gulbarga University result 2020?

The semester exam results are published online on the University's official website (www.gug.ac.in). Students can check their results by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Gulbarga University. On its homepage, navigate to the ‘Important Links’ section

Step 2: Click on ‘Results’. Further, choose course and semester for which you wish to view the semester result

Step 3: You can search the result by entering your name or roll number. Further, click on ‘Get Results’

Step 4: The semester score along with result status will get displayed on the screen. You can download the result or take a printout of the same for future references

Gulbarga University Evaluation 2020

For evaluating a student’s performance, the course instructor considers the marks obtained by students in mid-term test, semester-end examination and one of the following kinds: written test/ home assignments/ periodical quizzes/ laboratory work/ term paper/ seminar.

The performance of a student who has registered on any academic programme is evaluated internally on a continuous basis by the concerned course instructor. The grades from A+ to F are awarded to the students based on this evaluation:

  • A student also may be awarded the ‘F’ grade in any subject if he fails to attend the minimum percentage of classes as set by the course instructor
  • A student who gets ‘E’ or an ‘F’ grade does not earn any credit for the course. In such cases, the student is required to reappear for that subject in next consecutive years
  • ‘I ‘grade is awarded to a student if he fails to fulfil all the requirements for a course under extraordinary circumstances. An ‘I’ grade is required to be converted to a proper grade within the first month of the next semester
  • ‘X’ grade is awarded to a student when he fails to complete the project work within the semester. In such a case, the student needs to submit the project in the next semester

Note: If a student is not satisfied with the grade(s) awarded by the course instructor, displayed in the notice board, he can appeal by writing a review to the head of the concerned department within ten days of the commencement of the following semester.

Gulbarga University Revaluation 2020

For students, who are not satisfied with the results of their current semester can fill revaluation form. This will start the revaluation process of their answer sheets. In such a case, without considering previous marks, the University checks the copy of the student again. To do so, they are required to submit an application form regarding revaluation of that particular subject. This form becomes available online on the official website after the result declaration which needs to be filled and submitted within the prescribed date. Candidates can seek revaluation for the theory exams only and it is a chargeable process. Therefore, candidates must fill the application form and submit the revaluation fees as prescribed by the University.
