Q:   Will I get admission to MCA in Savitribai Phule University with 57 percentile?

A:
The admission process and criteria for MCA at Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly known as the University of Pune) may vary from year to year. While I don't have access to the specific cutoffs for the current year, I can provide you with some general information. A percentile of 57 is relatively low for MCA admissions, and it may be challenging to secure admission at Savitribai Phule Pune University with this percentile. The university typically receives a large number of applications for MCA and the cutoff percentile tends to be higher. However, admission criteria can depend on various factors such as the total number of applicants, the number of available seats, and the overall performance of candidates. The university may also consider other factors such as category-wise reservations, entrance exam scores, and academic qualifications. To obtain accurate and up-to-date information regarding the admission process and cutoffs at Savitribai Phule Pune University for MCA I recommend visiting their official website or contacting the university's admission department directly. They will provide you with the most accurate and reliable information regarding the cutoffs, eligibility criteria, and chances of admission with your percentile score. It's essential to stay updated with the official notifications and guidelines provided by the university to understand the specific admission process for the current year.

SPPU Exam Schedule 2024

Candidates can refer to the table below to know the schedule of exams to be held in the second half of the year 2024 for various faculties, such as Science, Humanities, Commerce, etc.:

Q:   Is there any entrance exam for admission to SPPU?

A:

UniPune admission 2025 for a majority of PG and UG courses, such as MSc, MA, MTech, MCom, BA and BBA, among others, is based on the Online Entrance Exam (OEE) conducted by the University. Additionally, there are numerous courses, such as MCA, MMM, Advanced Diploma, MPH, E-MBA, LLM and M.Lib.I.Sc, among others, where the admission process is completely based on merit in the previous qualifying exam (Class 12 for UG admission and UG degree for PG admission). The university also accepts MAH CET, MAH MCA MET,  CMATCATATMA and other exams for admission to a number of courses offered at its campus or its affiliated colleges.

Q:   I've scored less than 50% in 12th boards, can I get admission in UniPune for BTech?

A:

The eligibility criteria for Pune University (UniPune) BTech programmes require a candidate to have passed Class 12 with minimum 45% in relevant subjects. Hence, a candidate scoring 50% in Class 12 is eligible to apply for BTech at UniPune. However, the selection process of the university is based on the scores obtained by the candidates in one of the accepted entrance exams. The accepted entrance exams for BTech admission at the university include Pune University Online Entrance Exam (OEE)/JEE Main/MHT CET. Hence, just obtaining the minimum marks required in Class 12 does not guarantee admission to BTech courses of UniPune. In case a candidate fails to get admission to the BTech courses offered at the university, they can check out other colleges offering Online BTech courses.

Q:   What are the details mentioned in Pune University merit list?

A:
The merit lists released by Pune University have the following details:
  • Total seat intake for the course
  • Application ID
  • Student's name
  • Gender
  • Total marks secured
  • Category
  • Course Name

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for SPPU MSc physics?

A:

The eligibity criteria for SPPU MSc Physics : BSc in Physics/ Electronic Science/ Chemistry and Maths in Engineering degree BE/BTech/ BS in Maths till the second year with a minimum 45% aggregate.

Q:   Can I join MBA without CAT at UNIPUNE?

A:

Yes, it is possible to join UNIPUNE for MBA. As the University admission to MBA course is based on multiple entrance exams,  MAH CET, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, etc. So candidates who do not have a CAT score can always opt for the other exam for Admission.
